I'll never get tired of hearing (and seeing) Grace sing IDKMN. We wouldn't have her today without it and it chokes me up every time. She can sing it any way she likes and that's fine with me - I love all the versions. Perfectly Imperfect is a stunning achievement for a singer-songwriter's first effort. At age 12? Are you kidding me? Grace is going to turn popular music on it's ear, and I can't wait to see it. Anyone who thinks Grace VanderWaal will be 12 forever is in for a big surprise.

I think that as time goes on, she has been singing this song slower and slower. It was a great song the first time she did it, so upbeat. Now she seems tired. Other songs she is doing are so much better now I hope someone gives her some advice to pick up the pace of the song . I still love her .
Ron R. Maybe it's just me but I kinda like it?? And as she grows and her voice develops she may not be able to sing all the sharp tempo changes as well anymore or maybe she's just trying to figure out the best way to sing it given the message of the song?
I agree - the pace of the song at her audition was perfect. I still love the song (and her) but it lacks the same energy it had during the audition. The EP version is very slow. Nevertheless, I'm a huge fan and everything else she has done (her own compositions) are great.
