- Luke Cage got a small buff this week, but it's actually a huge buff in Cerebro 2 decks! This one is a fun Hazmat and Wong version that is able to utilize Luke's ongoing effect for some ridiculously fun results.

Power Estimate: This particular list includes a couple cards "for fun" that lower its power level. A more traditional Cerebro 2 that takes out Wong and Ghost will almost certainly perform better than this one, although it still doesn't look like a deck that will top the meta. It may be a viable climbing archetype, but one that's susceptible to bad luck more than top tier decks.

One of my favorite alternative play lines for Cerebro 2 is goose into mystique in another lane, into storm in the last lane, no big turn 6 cards for u.

Could also add in Invisible Woman, just to add a layer of protection against Enchantress.
Yeah, I'd never run C2 without her. She's too critical. The only downside is that they can Cosmo the Mystique.

I was already scouting for luke in prep of the high evo release and seeing this buff got me super hyped, and he finally rolled into my free pool 3 this morning and has already been instrumental in multiple wins, absolutely loving him

I hit Infinite with C2 last season. The Goose alone can swing an entire game in your favor. It's tougher now with all of the Zabu and Enchantress decks, obviously, but this deck has a special place in my heart.
Finally cracked infinite with this list. Really fun, and actually requires some thought to get it right. Thank you!

I'm right there with you when you were talking about playing Cerebro decks. You have to have perfect draws, locations screw you, it's easy to read and honestly, it really doesn't put out that much power. Still enjoyed watching you clutch some matches 👊
Without Cero this deck useless(sometimes always miss one card)
Without Luke also no use (Hazmat combo )
Then opponent drop scropian also make this deck to weak.
Some locations such as Metro,Shuri Lab,Stark Tower,Xander all those locations make this deck more less chance to beat opponents.
I prefer Cero3 But like it I said once u miss the cero the rest is gone.(Sometimes just play 1St round then ur cero got kill by Yondu then 😂😂😂)

My first thought after seeing the patch was "hey, how about throwing Luke Cage, Hazmat, and Wong into a Cerebro 2 deck?" So it was great to see Regis playing this variant of the deck!

tbf c2 can win without cerebro being drawn, c1 cant, so overall a really good change

I tried this deck, but since I don't have Ghost I replaced her with M'Baku, great decision.
I run the yondu, scorp, Iceman, beast to Wong, this'll be the alternate: ToxiC2 😁
Also just noticed maxxed negatized is 6, surprised seeing my nega-Onslaught on the board.
Beast works well in this deck, can remove squirrels, rocks, monster island , goblins, xmansion and can double up on an iceman/korg/Yondu
Starlight really needs an effect like Asgard or Attilan to tell you its going off this turn.

I have a fetish for people asking me why I don't run variants 100 times a day.
For real, I dunno, I just don't care that much, so I don't go out of my way to do it. If people remind me on stream while I'm building a deck, I'm happy to do it. But no one does.

What i think could work is you have blue marvel by himself in a location and play yellow jacket so he becomes 2 power and gets the cerebro buffs

I unironically play invisible woman on my scuffed C2 deck just to throw Enchantress off. They don't know if I played Cerebro under IW or if I'm saving it for turn 6, so they're forced to save their Ench for turn 6 and gamble on the 50-50.

First game out of the chute, why not Luke Cage right? Wasted a broodling, and could have mattered for the tie breaker. Also if you know enchantress is coming down, wouldn’t it have been worth splitting mystique off to a different lane initially?

Yea my bad. You’re absolutely right on the cage play. Still think splitting the mystique to right instead of mid is a net positive play, if you assume enchantress is remotely a possibility. But it worked out, so I’m probably wrong.
