While the episode left everyone in a state of shock, her father Gurdeep Singh Ahluwalia spoke to Bollywood Bubble host Nayandeep Rakshit before entering the Bigg Boss house. He opened up about Nimrit's game and also discussed why she has been tagged as lost inside the house. While the army man accepted her alliances with the mandli, he also agreed that Sajid Khan and MC Stan haven't really accepted her completely. Not just that, he also reveals all details behind his wife's call to Abdu Rozik which has been widely discussed during a Weekend episode by Salman Khan. He reveals that his wife never asked Abdu to distance himself from Nimrit. He also spoke about the allegations he levelled against Priyanka Chahar Choudhary regarding her social media following and why she has kept it hidden, and shares that Nimrit and Shiv Thakare are not in love at all.
