The M203 is a single-shot 40 mm under-barrel grenade launcher designed to attach to a rifle. It uses the same rounds as the older stand-alone M79 break-action grenade launcher, which utilizes the high-low propulsion system to keep recoil forces low. Quite versatile and compatible with many rifle models, the M203 was originally designed for the U.S. M16 and its carbine variant, the M4. The launcher can also be mounted onto a C7, a Canadian version of the M16 rifle; however, this requires the prior removal of the bottom handguard.
This is scp
@@tristanjacob4774 The M203 was the only part of the army's Special Purpose Individual Weapon (SPIW) project to go into production. The M203 has been in service since 1969[1] and was introduced to U.S. military forces during the early 1970s, replacing the M79 grenade launcher and the conceptually similar Colt XM148 design. However, while the M79 was a stand-alone weapon (and usually the primary weapon of troops who carried it), the M203 was designed as an under-barrel device attached to an existing rifle. Because the size and weight of 40 mm ammunition limits the quantities that can be carried on patrol, and because a grenade is often not an appropriate weapon for a given engagement (i.e. when the target is at close range or near friendly troops), an under-barrel system has the advantage of allowing its user to also carry a rifle, and to easily switch between the two. No this is a shitpost.

Grass is a plant with narrow leaves growing from the base. A common kind of grass is used to cover the ground in a lawn and other places. Grass gets water from the roots in the ground. Grass is usually pigmented with the colour ‘green’. Grasses are monocotyledon, herbaceous plants.
The grasses include the "grass", of the family Poaceae (also called Gramineae). Also sometimes it is used to include the sedges (Cyperaceae) and the rushes (Juncaceae). These three families are not closely related but belong to different clades in the order Poales. They are similar adaptations to a common life-style.
The true grasses include cereals, bamboo and the grasses of lawns (turf) and grassland. Uses for graminoids include food (as grain, sprouted grain, shoots or rhizomes), drink (beer, whisky), pasture for livestock, thatching thatch, paper, fuel, clothing, insulation, construction, sports turf, basket weaving and many others.

Affectionately called the “A-10 Warthog” for its aggressive look and often painted with teeth on the nose cone, the A-10 Thunderbolt II is the U.S. Air Force's primary low-altitude close air support aircraft. The A-10 is perhaps best known for its fearsome GAU-8 Avenger 30mm gatling gun mounted on the nose.

The Lockheed AC-130 gunship is a heavily armed, long-endurance, ground-attack variant of the C-130 Hercules transport, fixed-wing aircraft. It carries a wide array of ground-attack weapons that are integrated with sophisticated sensors, navigation, and fire-control systems. Unlike other modern military fixed-wing aircraft, the AC-130 relies on visual targeting. Because its large profile and low operating altitudes around 7,000 feet (2,100 m) make it an easy target, its close air support missions are usually flown at night.[6]
The airframe is manufactured by Lockheed Martin, while Boeing is responsible for the conversion into a gunship and for aircraft support.[7] Developed during the Vietnam War as "Project Gunship II", the AC-130 replaced the Douglas AC-47 Spooky, or "Gunship I". The sole operator is the United States Air Force, which uses the AC-130U Spooky and AC-130W Stinger II[8] variants for close air support, air interdiction, and force protection, with the upgraded AC-130J Ghostrider entering service.[9] Close air support roles include supporting ground troops, escorting convoys, and urban operations. Air-interdiction missions are conducted against planned targets and targets of opportunity. Force-protection missions include defending air bases and other facilities. AC-130Us are based at Hurlburt Field, Florida, while AC-130Ws are based at Cannon AFB, New Mexico; gunships can be deployed worldwide.[10] The squadrons are part of the Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC), a component of the United States Special Operations Command.

A grenade is an explosive weapon typically thrown by hand (also called hand grenade), but can also refer to a shell (explosive projectile) shot from the muzzle of a rifle (as a rifle grenade) or a grenade launcher. A modern hand grenade generally consists of an explosive charge ("filler"), a detonator mechanism, an internal striker to trigger the detonator, and a safety lever secured by a cotter pin. The user removes the safety pin before throwing, and once the grenade leaves the hand the safety lever gets released, allowing the striker to trigger a primer that ignites a fuze (sometimes called the delay element), which burns down to the detonator and explodes the main charge.
Grenades work by dispersing fragments (fragmentation grenades), shockwaves (high-explosive, anti-tank and stun grenades), chemical aerosols (smoke and gas grenades) or fire (incendiary grenades). Fragmentation grenades ("frags") are probably the most common in modern armies, and when the word grenade is used in everyday speech, it is generally assumed to refer to a fragmentation grenade. Their outer casings, generally made of a hard synthetic material or steel, are designed to rupture and fragment on detonation, sending out numerous fragments (shards and splinters) as fast-flying projectiles. In modern grenades, a pre-formed fragmentation matrix inside the grenade is commonly used, which may be spherical, cuboid, wire or notched wire. Most anti-personnel (AP) grenades are designed to detonate either after a time delay or on impact.[1]
Grenades are often spherical, cylindrical, ovoid or truncated ovoid in shape, and of a size that fits the hand of an average-sized adult. Some grenades are mounted at the end of a handle and known as "stick grenades". The stick design provides leverage for throwing longer distances, but at the cost of additional weight and length, and has been considered obsolete by western countries since the Second World War and Cold War periods. A friction igniter inside the handle or on the top of the grenade head was used to initiate the fuse.

The STEN (or Sten gun) is a family of British submachine guns chambered in 9×19mm which were used extensively by British and Commonwealth forces throughout World War II and the Korean War. They had a simple design and very low production cost, making them effective insurgency weapons for resistance groups, and they continue to see usage to this day by irregular military forces. The Sten served as the basis for the Sterling submachine gun, which replaced the Sten in British service until the 1990s, when it, and all other submachine guns, were replaced by the SA80.
The Heckler & Koch MP5 (German: Maschinenpistole 5) is a 9x19mm Parabellum submachine gun, developed in the 1960s by a team of engineers from the German small arms manufacturer Heckler & Koch. There are over 100 variants and clones of the MP5,[10] including some semi-automatic versions.
By and large, submachine gun class weapons were largely designed around existing pistol-type cartridges which, for their time, offered good man-stopping capabilities as targets were generally unarmored. However, throughout the 1980s, body armor technology allowed users wider access to lighter - yet still effective - protection which inspired new breeds of cartridge - and corresponding weapons - to take shape. NATO saw a similar need and issued a 1989 charge for such a cartridge, prompting several competing firearms firms to develop new solutions.
One submission became the Heckler & Koch HK MP7 chambered for the HK 4.6x30mm cartridge. The HK firm of Germany had long held a lead in the submachine gun market, their HK MP5 submachine gun (chambered in 9mm) becoming its ubiquitous product line. the HK MP7 followed the tried and proven measures that made the MP5 such a successful weapon including use of heavy duty composites and attention to design. However, the MP7 would be keenly different from the preceding MP5 design for it was intended to function as a machine pistol, submachine gun and "personal defense weapon" (PDW) all in one. Therefore, it could be issued to special forces operatives, paratroopers (airborne soldiers), security personnel, police units and second-line/logistical troops without loss of firepower.
The HK MP7 is, therefore, very compact and can be utilized in a traditional three-point hold (two-handed and up against the shoulder) or a standard two-hand hold as with a pistol. The weapon is relatively light-weight at 2.6lbs unloaded and maintains a running length of 25 inches. Utilizing the collapsing stock, the weapon can be brought down to a more manageable 16 inch length when space is a luxury. The barrel itself measures in at 7 inches while the receiver, at its thickest, is just 2 inches wide.
The key design element of the HK MP7 is the proprietary HK 4.6x30mm cartridge. The cartridge was first introduced in 1999 and began widespread use in 2001 is of a rimless bottleneck design. Its design is such that the cartridge offers very little recoil yet can still penetrate armored subjects at range - the smaller diameter being the driving quality here. Since its inception, the cartridge had evolved into a family of solutions including the basic penetrator, a hollow point offering, and a full metal jacket design. The HP MP7 is the only weapon that currently makes use of the HK 4.6x30mm cartridge aside from the cancelled HK UCP pistol. All told, the HK MP7 and UCP were direct competitors to the Belgian FN-Herstal FN P90 submachine gun and Five-Seven pistol - these chambered for the proprietary 5.7x28mm cartridge.
HK utilized the action of their successful HK G36 assault rifle in the HK MP7, this being a gas-operation system utilizing a short-stroke piston with a rotating bolt assembly. The prototype was known as the PDW (Personal Defense Weapon) and debuted in 1999. After a period of evaluation, it entered serial production under the company designation of HK MP7 in 2001.
The Ingram MAC-10 (M10) was a short-lived, compact submachine gun initiative seeing limited production and equally-limited action across the globe. While introducing some impressive and interesting concepts, the weapon system failed to materialize as a serious contender within the established submachine market and was soon overtaken by other factor out of her control. The weapon system was not helped by the American military's decision to pass on full production orders and her future was ultimately decided for her with the collapse of her host company, Military Armament Corporation (MAC - hence the "MAC-10" designation). Despite the widely-accepted designation of "MAC-10", the submachine gun was officially marketed as the "M10" and the former identifier was never used in any official capacity. However, it has since become universally accepted as the "MAC-10" and nothing more.
MAC-10 Origins
Design of the MAC-10 began as early as 1964 by Gordon B. Ingram. Ingram was a former associate at the Police Ordnance Corporation before leaving to develop the MAC-10. He partnered with Mitchell Werbell III, a former OSS and CIA operative and founder of SIONICS (Studies In the Operational Negation of Insurgents and Counter-Subversion) - a firm centering on the development and sales of firearm-capable suppressors and silencers and their partnership produced the Military Armament Corporation (MAC). Their joint venture and flagship product was to become the MAC-10 with the ultimate hope being quantitative sales to the US military during the ongoing Vietnam War.
To the casual observer, the MAC-10 showcased a design not unlike the Israeli-made UZI series (as well as other submachine guns that have mimicked this general design layout). The submachine gun was characterized by a rectangular receiver fitting a simple straight pistol grip that doubled as the magazine feed. There was a rounded-rectangle trigger ring ahead of the pistol grip and below the forward portion of the receiver. The safety catch was set to the right of the trigger guard. Construction was of steel stampings and the bolt was of a wrap-around - or telescoping - design, essentially "wrapping around" the barrel and allowing the MAC-10 to achieve such a short receiver length and thus remain a compact weapon system. These design elements made for a steady gun platform, concentrating the firing action balance just over the pistol grip. The cocking handle was situated along the stop of the receiver and accessible by either hand. Interestingly, there was a notch cut through the handle to ensure an unfettered line-of-sight between the operator, the weapon and his target. The cocking handle also doubled as a safety for it could be turned in a 90-degree action to lock the bolt and serve as a visual indicator that the weapon was made safe and unready to fire. The firing action was accomplished through an open bolt, blow-back operated design. A rather large ejection port opening was fitted along the right side of the receiver, corresponding to the placement of the magazine beneath it. A short sling could be attached to a hook at the front panel of the receiver.

AK -47, Soviet assault rifle. Designed by Mikhail T. Kalashnikov (its name stands for “automatic Kalashnikov 1947”), it had both semiautomatic and automatic capabilities and fired intermediate-power 7.62-mm ammunition. It was manufactured in the former Soviet Union and Soviet-bloc countries and soon became the basic shoulder weapon for virtually all communist armies as well as for many guerrilla and nationalist movements. In the Soviet military it was replaced in the 1960s by the AKM, which featured a lighter, cheaper stamped-metal receiver, and in the 1970s by the AK-74, which fired a high-velocity 5.45-mm round. See also M16 rifle. AK-47, also called Kalashnikov Model 1947, Soviet assault rifle, possibly the most widely used shoulder weapon in the world. The initials AK represent Avtomat Kalashnikova, Russian for “automatic Kalashnikov,” for its designer, Mikhail Timofeyevich Kalashnikov, who designed the accepted version of the weapon in 1947.
Almost from the moment of its official adoption by the Soviet military in 1949, the AK-47 was recognized as being simple to operate, rugged, reliable under trying conditions, and amenable to mass production. Built around a 7.62-mm round with a muzzle velocity of some 700 metres per second, it had a cyclic firing rate of 600 rounds per minute and was capable of both semiautomatic and automatic fire. A long curved box magazine held 30 rounds, and a separate gas-return tube above the barrel held a piston that was forced back upon firing to activate the mechanisms that ejected the spent cartridge and cocked the hammer for the next round. The AK-47 was manufactured in two basic designs, one with a wooden stock and the other, designated the AKS, with a folding metal stock. Beginning in 1959, the AK-47 was replaced in first-line Soviet service by the AKM, a modernized version fitted with longer-range sights and cheaper mass-produced parts, including a stamped sheet-metal receiver and a plywood buttstock and forward grip. After the 1970s, research continued into possible successors to the AK-47/74 series, most of them involving some means of reducing the effects of recoil and blowback. One candidate, the AN-94, allowed two rounds to be fired in rapid succession before recoil forces were generated. Other candidates, the AK-107 and AEK-971, introduced mechanical parts whose movements balanced those of the blowback-generating mechanisms. None of these weapons was accepted for standard issue to the Russian army, however. In 2018 the Russian military began introducing a pair of new rifles from the AK family-the AK-12 and the AK-15-as eventual replacements for the AK-74M. The AK-12 retained the 5.45-mm calibre that had been introduced with the AK-74, but the AK-15 reverted to the Soviet-era 7.62-mm round. Both weapons featured a modernized chassis that allowed for the mounting of scopes, forward grips, and other tactical accessories. Kalashnikov assault rifles remain the basic shoulder weapons of many armies that once had political and military ties to the Soviet Union, and they have long been the favoured weapon for many guerrilla and nationalist movements throughout the world. The symbolic value of the AK-47 to such movements is demonstrated by its presence on the coats of arms of numerous countries as well as on the flag of Mozambique. It has been estimated that some 100 million AKs have been produced-fully half of them outside Russia, and many of those under expired Soviet-era licenses or no license at all. A full range of weapons that can trace their design history back to the AK-47 are produced by the Izhmash armaments company in Izhevsk, Russia.Despite their obvious advantages, the AK-47 and the AKM were considered by the Soviet military to have problems with accuracy, mainly because of recoil forces generated by the powerful 7.62-mm round and other forces known as blowback that were generated by the weapons’ heavy internal mechanisms. Those problems were partly addressed during the 1970s, when the AKM was replaced by the AK-74, which adapted the basic Kalashnikov design to a smaller 5.45-mm round with a higher muzzle velocity of 900 metres per second. A later version of the AK-74, the AK-74M, was the main infantry weapon of the Russian army into the 21st century.

T-34 is a Soviet medium tank introduced in 1940. Its 76.2 mm (3 in) tank gun was more powerful than its contemporaries[7] while its 60 degree sloped armour provided good protection against anti-tank weapons. The Christie suspension was inherited from the design of American J. Walter Christie's M1928 tank, versions of which were sold turret-less to the Red Army and documented as "farm tractors", after being rejected by the U.S. Army. The T-34 had a profound effect on the conflict on the Eastern Front in the Second World War, and had a lasting impact on tank design. After the Germans encountered the tank in 1941 during Operation Barbarossa, German general Paul Ludwig Ewald von Kleist called it "the finest tank in the world"[8] and Heinz Guderian affirmed the T-34's "vast superiority" over German tanks.[9][10] Alfred Jodl, chief of operations staff of the German armed forces noted in his war diary "the surprise at this new and thus unknown wunder-armament being unleashed against the German assault divisions,"[11] although its armour and armament were surpassed later in the war

The Boeing B-52 Stratofortress is an American long-range, subsonic, jet-powered strategic bomber. The B-52 was designed and built by Boeing, which has continued to provide support and upgrades. It has been operated by the United States Air Force (USAF) since the 1950s. The bomber can carry up to 70,000 pounds (32,000 kg) of weapons,[2] and has a typical combat range of around 8,800 miles (14,200 km) without aerial refueling. Beginning with the successful contract bid in June 1946, the B-52 design evolved from a straight wing aircraft powered by six turboprop engines to the final prototype YB-52 with eight turbojet engines and swept wings. The B-52 took its maiden flight in April 1952. Built to carry nuclear weapons for Cold War-era deterrence missions, the B-52 Stratofortress replaced the Convair B-36 Peacemaker. A veteran of several wars, the B-52 has dropped only conventional munitions in combat. The B-52's official name Stratofortress is rarely used; informally, the aircraft has become commonly referred to as the BUFF (Big Ugly Fat Fucker/Fella).[4][5][6][Note 1]
The B-52 has been in service with the USAF since 1955. There are 72 aircraft in inventory as of 2022; 58 operated by active forces (2nd Bomb Wing and 5th Bomb Wing), 18 by reserve forces (307th Bomb Wing), and about 12 in long-term storage at the Davis-Monthan AFB Boneyard. The bombers flew under the Strategic Air Command (SAC) until it was disestablished in 1992 and its aircraft absorbed into the Air Combat Command (ACC); in 2010, all B-52 Stratofortresses were transferred from the ACC to the new Air Force Global Strike Command (AFGSC). Superior performance at high subsonic speeds and relatively low operating costs have kept them in service despite the advent of later, more advanced strategic bombers, including the Mach 2+ Convair B-58 Hustler, the canceled Mach 3 North American XB-70 Valkyrie, the variable-geometry Rockwell B-1 Lancer, and the stealth Northrop Grumman B-2 Spirit. The B-52 completed 60 years of continuous service with its original operator in 2015. After being upgraded between 2013 and 2015, the last airplanes are expected to serve into the 2050s.

KMS Bismarck was the first of the Bismarck-class battleship, named after Chancellor Otto von Bismarck. Though its service was brief, it had a lasting impact on the war.
Rust is an iron oxide, a usually reddish-brown oxide formed by the reaction of iron and oxygen in the catalytic presence of water or air moisture. Rust consists of hydrous iron(III) oxides (Fe2O3·nH2O) and iron(III) oxide-hydroxide (FeO(OH), Fe(OH)3), and is typically associated with the corrosion of refined iron.
Given sufficient time, any iron mass, in the presence of water and oxygen, could eventually convert entirely to rust. Surface rust is commonly flaky and friable, and provides no passivational protection to the underlying iron, unlike the formation of patina on copper surfaces. Rusting is the common term for corrosion of elemental iron and its alloys such as steel. Many other metals undergo similar corrosion, but the resulting oxides are not commonly called "rust".
Several forms of rust are distinguishable both visually and by spectroscopy, and form under different circumstances. Other forms of rust include the result of reactions between iron and chloride in an environment deprived of oxygen. Rebar used in underwater concrete pillars, which generates green rust, is an example. Although rusting is generally a negative aspect of iron, a particular form of rusting, known as stable rust, causes the object to have a thin coating of rust over the top. If kept in low relative humidity, it makes the "stable" layer protective to the iron below, but not to the extent of other oxides such as aluminium oxide on aluminium.
The M1 Abrams is known for its stabilized gun and ability to shoot accurately on the move.
In addition to its stability and accuracy, The M1 Abrams is also known for its superior crew protection (including chemical/biological/nuclear), safe storage of ammunition to prevent explosions, speed, and maneuverability on rough ground, and efficient ventilation. It also requires a minimum of maintenance; The M1’s turbine engine is more reliable, requires fewer parts, is lightweight, and allows for a wide range of fuels. The tank has a low profile with a very shallow turret, making it a smaller target. Its tracks are rubber, and its turret can be rotated 360° in 9 seconds. It can climb obstacles 4 ft high and cross a 9 ft wide ditch.
Weight: 55 Tons, most of which is Chobham armor.
Crew: 4-Commander, gunner, loader, and driver.
Armament: 105mm gun (the M1A2 has a 120mm), each shell weighs about 40 lbs.
Armor: The composite armor used in the M1 is Chobham (after Chobham, England, where it was developed) or code-named Burlington. It consists of steel armor and spaced ceramic armor tiles.
Year Field: 1980
Speed: 45 mph, accelerates from rest to 20 mph in 6 seconds, and carries enough fuel to last almost 300 miles without refueling.
Range: 300 miles
Number Produced: Chrysler and General Dynamics built over 2000 M1s between 1980-1985; the last basic M1 was retired from service in 1996. Between 1984-86, General Dynamics built IPM1, 894 of them. These had more armor in front and a bustle rack for storage. Basic M1s were retired from service in 1996, M1s, and IPM1s are currently being withdrawn from the National Guard service, but many may be converted to current upgrades.

The Fairchild Republic A-10 Thunderbolt II is a single-seat, twin-turbofan, straight-wing, subsonic attack aircraft developed by Fairchild Republic for the United States Air Force (USAF). In service since 1976, it is named for the Republic P-47 Thunderbolt, a World War II-era fighter-bomber effective at attacking ground targets, but commonly referred to as the "Warthog" or "Hog".[4] The A-10 was designed to provide close air support (CAS) to friendly ground troops by attacking armored vehicles, tanks, and other enemy ground forces; it is the only production-built aircraft designed solely for CAS to have served with the U.S. Air Force.[5] Its secondary mission is to direct other aircraft in attacks on ground targets, a role called forward air controller-airborne; aircraft used primarily in this role are designated OA-10.
The A-10 was intended to improve on the performance and firepower of the Douglas A-1 Skyraider. Its airframe was designed for durability, with measures such as 1,200 pounds (540 kg) of titanium armor to protect the cockpit and aircraft systems, enabling it to absorb damage and continue flying. Its ability to take off and land from relatively short runways permits operation from airstrips close to the front lines, and its simple design enables maintenance with minimal facilities.
The A-10 served in the First Gulf War (Operation Desert Storm), the American-led intervention against Iraq's invasion of Kuwait, where the aircraft distinguished itself. The A-10 also participated in other conflicts such as in Grenada, the Balkans, Afghanistan, Iraq, and against the Islamic State in the Middle East.
The A-10A single-seat variant was the only version produced, though one pre-production airframe was modified into the YA-10B twin-seat prototype to test an all-weather night-capable version. In 2005, a program was started to upgrade the remaining A-10A aircraft to the A-10C configuration, with modern avionics for use with precision weaponry. The U.S. Air Force had stated the Lockheed Martin F-35 Lightning II would replace the A-10 as it entered service, but this remains highly contentious within the USAF and in political circles. With a variety of upgrades and wing replacements, the A-10's service life can be extended to 2040; the service has no planned retirement date as of June 2017.[6]

The M4/M4A1 5.56mm Carbine is a lightweight, gas operated, air cooled, magazine fed, selective rate, shoulder fired weapon with a collapsible stock. It is now the standard issue firearm for most units in the U.S. military.
Equipped with a shorter barrel, collapsible stock and detachable carrying handle (with a built-in accessory rail) it provides soldiers operating in close quarters with improved handling and the capability to rapidly and accurately engage targets at extended range, day or night.
A shortened variant of the M16A2 rifle, the M4 carbine provides the individual soldier operating in close quarters the capability to engage targets at extended range with accurate, lethal fire. The M4-series Carbine achieves over 80% commonality with the M16A2 Rifle and replaces all M3 .45 caliber submachine guns, and selected M9 pistols and M16 rifles.
Because its large profile and low operating altitudes around 7,000 feet (2,100 m) make it an easy target, its close air support missions are usually flown at night.
The airframe is manufactured by Lockheed Martin, while Boeing is responsible for the conversion into a gunship and for aircraft support. Developed during the Vietnam War as "Project Gunship II", the AC-130 replaced the Douglas AC-47 Spooky, or "Gunship I". The sole operator is the United States Air Force, which uses the AC-130U Spooky and AC-130W Stinger II variants for close air support, air interdiction, and force protection, with the upgraded AC-130J Ghostrider entering service. Close air support roles include supporting ground troops, escorting convoys, and urban operations. Air-interdiction missions are conducted against planned targets and targets of opportunity. Force-protection missions include defending air bases and other facilities. AC-130Us are based at Hurlburt Field, Florida, while AC-130Ws are based at Cannon AFB, New Mexico; gunships can be deployed worldwide. The squadrons are part of the Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC), a component of the United States Special Operations Command.
The AC-130 has an unpressurized cabin, with the weaponry mounted to fire from the port side of the fuselage. During an attack, the gunship performs a pylon turn, flying in a large circle around the target, therefore being able to fire at it for far longer than in a conventional strafing attack. The AC-130H Spectre was armed with two 20 mm M61 Vulcan cannons, one L60 Bofors 40 mm cannon, and M137 105 mm cannon and M37 recoil mechanism from the M102 howitzer; after 1994, the 20 mm cannons were removed. The upgraded AC-130U Spooky has a single 25 mm GAU-12 Equalizer cannon in place of the Spectre's two 20 mm cannons, an improved fire-control system, and increased ammunition capacity. The new AC-130J was based on the MC-130J Commando II special-operations tanker. The AC-130W Stinger II is a modified C-130H with upgrades including a precision strike package.

The M8 Flare Pistol or AN/M8 Pyrotechnic Pistol was the standard 37mm signal flare launcher used by the United States Army Air Force during the Second World War and the United States Air Force until 2002. The weapon is a double-action striker-fired launcher with a simple break-open breech-loading design, with a cast aluminium frame and stamped steel parts, designed to be simple enough that it could be made by the Eureka Vacuum Cleaner Company in WW2. The two distinctive curved projections on the top of the weapon are the latch for opening the breech at the rear, and a hook for securing the pistol in an aircraft: alternatively it could be secured by the muzzle using the four rectangular locking lugs on the barrel if the aircraft had the appropriate mounting.
The M13 link, formally Link, Cartridge, Metallic Belt, 7.62mm, M13, is the U.S. military designation for a metallic disintegrating link specifically designed for ammunition belt-fed firearms and 7.62×51mm NATO rounds. It was introduced in the mid-20th century.[1] It is the primary link type for the United States and among NATO for the 7.62×51mm NATO cartridge. As of 2017, it has been in use for over 60 years and is used on the Dillon M134D Minigun, M60 Machine Gun, FN MAG/M240, Mk 48, MG3, HK21, MG5, UKM-2000, K12, SS-77 and Negev NG-7, among others. The Panzerkampfwagen IV (Pz.Kpfw. IV), commonly known as the Panzer IV, was a German medium tank developed in the late 1930s and used extensively during the Second World War. Its ordnance inventory designation was Sd.Kfz. 161.
The Panzer IV was the most numerous German tank and the second-most numerous German fully tracked armoured fighting vehicle of the Second World War; 8,553 Panzer IVs of all versions were built during World War II, only exceeded by the StuG III assault gun with 10,086 vehicles. Its chassis was also used as the base for many other fighting vehicles, including the Sturmgeschütz IV assault gun, the Jagdpanzer IV self-propelled anti-tank gun, the Wirbelwind self-propelled anti-aircraft gun, and the Brummbär self-propelled gun.
The Panzer IV saw service in all combat theatres involving Germany and was the only German tank to remain in continuous production throughout the war. It was originally designed for infantry support, while the similar Panzer III was to fight armoured fighting vehicles. However, as the Germans faced the formidable T-34, the Panzer IV had more development potential, with a larger turret ring to mount more powerful guns, so it swapped roles with the Panzer III whose production wound down in 1943. The Panzer IV received various upgrades and design modifications, intended to counter new threats, extending its service life. Generally, these involved increasing the armour protection or upgrading the weapons, although during the last months of the war, with Germany's pressing need for rapid replacement of losses, design changes also included simplifications to speed up the manufacturing process.
The Panzer IV was partially succeeded by the Panther medium tank, which was introduced to counter the Soviet T-34, although it continued to be a significant component of German armoured formations to the end of the war. It was the most widely exported tank in German service, with around 300 sold to Finland, Romania, Spain and Bulgaria. After the war, Syria procured Panzer IVs from France and Czechoslovakia, which saw combat in the 1967 Six-Day War.

SCP-682 has always been observed to have extremely high strength, speed, and reflexes, though exact levels vary with its form. SCP-682's physical body grows and changes very quickly, growing or decreasing in size as it consumes or sheds material. SCP-682 gains energy from anything it ingests, organic or inorganic. SCP-682's regenerative capabilities and resilience are staggering, and SCP-682 has been seen moving and speaking with its body 87% destroyed.
Mikhail Kalashnikov (1919-2013) was a Soviet soldier who fought in World War II against Nazi Germany in which he was shot and wounded at the Battle of Bryansk. During his hospital stay he was inspired to create a new weapon, as the old-fashioned Soviet carbines were difficult to use and presented various complications for Red Army soldiers. Upon leaving the hospital in 1942, Kalashnikov went to the workshop, where he began to manufacture his designs. This new project caught the attention of his superiors and he was transferred to the Moscow Aviation Institute to work with more resources.
In 1943, Kalashnikov created a rifle that used the 7.62x39mm cartridge, but his prototype was not chosen to serve the Russian army; It is said that he had to redesign it, acquiring knowledge from the study of the German Sturmgewehr 44 (Stg.44) rifle, although its mechanisms are very different. For this reason, some authors believe that many modern weapons, such as the M16 rifle and the AK-47 itself, have taken many technical solutions from the Sturmgewehr 44, and owe their existence to this model. This fact is disputed, since all the systems used in the Sturmgewehr 44 (curved magazines, stamped sheet metal construction, semi-rigid roller locking system, folding stock, etc.), already existed in various previous weapons. Other features were picked up from the Sturmgewehr 45 (Stg.45), which the Germans developed in the last year of the war (1945), to lower the cost price of the previous year's Model 44 and increase the rate of production.6
Despite the recent adoption of the SKS Carbine, several designers continued their work in search of a weapon that emulated the performance of the Sturmgewehr 44 rifle, which used the intermediate cartridge (7.92x33mm). By 1946 Kalashnikov had completed a rapid-fire assault rifle, but he continued to refine the design as the army tested it. This rifle was called AK-46 and the final version, AK-47.5
In 1951 the Red Army adopted it as the main infantry weapon, replacing the PPSh-41 submachine gun, although it was not until 1954 that it entered large-scale service. It was later chosen by the Eastern Bloc countries in the Warsaw Pact as a standard weapon for their armies during the Cold War. Due to its excellent performance, the AK-47 became the backbone of the Red Army. The rifle was improved with several versions appearing such as the AKM, PA M1986, RPK, Type 56, Type 58, and several weapon builders were inspired by its design and modified it or took part of its mechanisms and created new rifles based on it such as the Rk-62, AK-74, RPK-74, AK-103, IMI Galil, the INSAS, among many others.
Shortly after its creation, the AK-47 became the most popular weapon among guerrilla militants of Marxist ideology, and the main weapon of the armies of the countries that signed the Warsaw Pact. Thanks to the low-cost materials and construction of the AK-47, it has become the most numerous weapon on the planet. It is estimated that there are between 35 and 50 million rifles of this type, not counting those that are manufactured illegally each year. It is produced by 18 countries, These are: Albania, China, Bulgaria, the former East Germany, Hungary, Egypt, India, Iraq, Iran, Morocco, Finland, North Korea, Vietnam, Yugoslavia (now Serbia), Pakistan, Poland and Romania, and privately for sports and collection use, by companies in the United States.7

The designation AK-47 stands for Kalashnikov automatic rifle, model of 1947 (Russian: Автомат Калашникова 47, tr. Avtomat Kalashnikova 47). The M134 Minigun is an American 7.62×51mm NATO six-barrel rotary machine gun with a high rate of fire (2,000 to 6,000 rounds per minute).[2] It features a Gatling-style rotating barrel assembly with an external power source, normally an electric motor. The "Mini" in the name is in comparison to larger-caliber designs that use a rotary barrel design, such as General Electric's earlier 20 mm M61 Vulcan, and "gun" for the use of rifle ammunition as opposed to autocannon shells.
"Minigun" refers to a specific model of weapon that General Electric originally produced, but the term "minigun" has popularly come to refer to any externally powered rotary gun of rifle caliber. The term is sometimes used loosely to refer to guns of similar rates of fire and configuration, regardless of power source and caliber.
The Minigun is used by several branches of the U.S. military. Versions are designated M134 and XM196 by the United States Army, and GAU-2/A and GAU-17/A by the U.S. Air Force and U.S. Navy.
The AK-74 (Russian: Автомат Калашникова образца 1974 года, tr. Avtomat Kalashnikova obraztsa 1974 goda, lit. 'Kalashnikov assault rifle model 1974) is an assault rifle designed by small arms designer Mikhail Kalashnikov in 1974. While primarily associated with the Soviet Union, it has seen use in multiple nations throughout the 20th century and onwards. It is chambered for the 5.45×39mm cartridge, which replaced the 7.62×39mm cartridge of Kalashnikov's earlier automatic weapons for the Soviet armed forces.
The rifle first saw service with Soviet forces in the Afghanistan conflict from 1979 onwards.[9] The head of the Afghan bureau of the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI), the official intelligence agency of Pakistan, claimed that America's Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) paid $5,000 for the first AK-74 captured by the Afghan mujahideen during the Afghan-Soviet War.[10]
As of 2021, most countries of the former Soviet Union use the rifle. Licensed copies were produced in Bulgaria (AK-74, AKS-74 and AKS-74U), and in the former East Germany (MPi-AK-74N, MPi-AKS-74N, MPi-AKS-74NK

The Heckler & Koch G11 is a non-production prototype assault rifle developed from the late 1960s-1980s by Gesellschaft für Hülsenlose Gewehrsysteme (GSHG) (German for "Association for Caseless Rifle Systems"), a conglomeration of companies headed by firearm manufacturer Heckler & Koch (mechanical engineering and weapon design), Dynamit Nobel (propellant composition and projectile design), and Hensoldt Wetzlar (target identification and optic systems). The rifle is noted for its use of caseless ammunition.
It was primarily a project of West Germany, though it was of significance to the other NATO countries as well. In particular, versions of the G11 were included in the U.S. Advanced Combat Rifle program.
In 1990, H&K finished the development of the G11, intended for the Bundeswehr and other NATO partners. Although the weapon was a technical success, it never entered full production due to the political changes of German reunification and lack of procurement contract.[3] Only 1000 units were ever produced, some of which made their way into the hands of the Bundeswehr. Ultimately, the German armed forces replaced the G3 with the G36.
