A prequel cartoon with Lex as a secret pulp hero slowly becoming a villain is the cartoon I didn't know I wanted.
This video was excellent! I've been reading since Morrison's Authority book dropped prior to War World. I genuinely can't remember a time in my life where I ever read Superman month to month, and I've been reading monthly since 2011. But this run has got it's hooks in me bad. I love it so much.

Leader: Superman
2nd in Command: Batman
Heart: Spider Man
Powerhouse: Hulk
Brains: Iron Man
Magic User: Zatanna
Elemental: Storm
Martial Artist: Wonder Woman
Comic Relief: Deadpool
So I decided to do my own list but also added these criteria:
1) Not choose any of the heroes he did
2) choose a team that would be interesting to write (so not just the most powerful I could pick for the slot, like The Spectre for Magic User)
3) Try and keep it fairly even between Marvel and DC, as he did
4) Still have the team be relatively competitive with his
So here goes:
The Leader: Black Panther
2nd in Command: Nubia
Heart: Captain America
Powerhouse: Composite Superman
Brains: Dr. Strange
Magic Used: John Constantine
Elemental: Iceman (or Hemsworth Thor)
Martial Artist: Midnighter
Comic Relief: Guy Gardner Green Lantern
I could write this team. Anyone else want to take a crack?

Terra Man was a fave of mine as a gay kid! I discovered comics as a kid in the Bronze Age, but ended up with a lot of Silver Age DC.
My favorite Superman foe ever was the silver age Composite Superman. He’s often in story outlines I create, usually reformed (will post separate example from Reddit). Are you familiar with this character?
My second favorite Superman foe is B. B. Farnum from Superman 269! Please tell me you know of this guy! Super cool costume, and powers! Another one that shows up in my stuff. I love characters with powers that can be ‘abused’. (I don’t think he’s ever been brought back since.)

1. Worlds finest by Mark Waid. Bronze age era Batman Superman stories by Waid and Mora
2. Williamsons run on Superman is continuing until announced otherwise (although Williamson is leaving a few books this Autumn, he's keeping Superman)
3. Absolute Power.... is a thing that's happening..... that affects superman... probably.....
4. PKJ left Action comics at the end of 2023 to make way for the "Superman Superstars" Initiative with 3 issue rotations of writers on the book. First was Jason Aarons Bizzarro Arc with art by John Timms. Second was Williamson and Sandovals house of Brainiac which is the focus of this video. Currently releasing as we speak is an Arc by Gail Simone and Eddy Barrows. With a 4th arc by a currently Unnanounced writer and artist to close out the year, with the assumption that the Writer that takes over in January 2025 will be more long term.... Hopefully

Great job man on that amazing video on Superman and the current Superman run is really awesome and amazing in my opinion.
Personally for me the back up story within action comics with Clark Kent Superman and Lois lane and their son Jonathan Samuel Kent superboy as his 10 year old self was really awesome and badass and such a great story in my opinion.
