- This calculus video tutorial provides a basic introduction into slope fields. It explains how to draw a slope field using an x-y data table given the differential equation. It also explains how to sketch the solution curves or the general solution of the differential equation on the slope field and how to verify the solution of the differential equation by integrating using separation of variables. Finally, this video explains how to match the slope field with the appropriate differential equation by finding the values of x, y, and the slope or y' at a certain point. This video contains plenty of examples and practice problems.

Whenever I need help I look it up on youtube and the moment I see your name I think "my man"
for real
U know 😂
True
Factss
Not sure if anyone gives a shit but if you're bored like me atm then you can stream all of the latest movies and series on instaflixxer. I've been binge watching with my brother recently :)
sir, im sure you have at least heard this a million times, but you are absolutely an LEGEND- i am probably one of the only asian that is lowkey failing in AP Calc AB (not even BC smh) rn, and your videos are just lifesavers. your existence is greatly appreciated. ty for all that you have done. you are the GOAT
how does this man know EVERYTHING
Supposedly he studied organic chemistry, so he should know chemistry, physics, and math up to at least differential equations/calc 3 and linear algebra.
you're the reason i have passed my math and science classes
literally THE channel for when I am struggling with a calculus topic
THANK YOU
Professor Organic Chemistry Tutor, thank you for another amazing video/lecture on the Introduction to Slope Fields in Differential Equations. From watching this video and analyzing slope fields in Differential Equations textbooks, I fully understand Slope Fields and its impact on the solution to Differential Equations. This is an error free video/lecture on CZcams TV with the Organic Chemistry Tutor.
I had watched other videos as well before I got to urs and the most impressive thing was that u added every basic detail to it..... thank you soooooo much
you upload like 5 videos a day wow impressive.
Still uploads too
THANK YOU! I wasn't taught this in my class and we were expected to know it when a good fraction of us didn't come from a class that taught it. This really helped me understand it.
your voice is the real asmr
right !! his videos r so comforting
I feel like I learn more from you videos than from lectures in college
All I had to do was watch till 3:48 and I knew how to solve the questions I just wasted 2 hours trying to learn from my prof's notes. Thank you!
past a few years, I wanted to review this and today finally did it and understood it correctly. nice work and thank you.
Finished ap calculus bc in 2022 and understood that the equations compared to the slope because of AP daily review. But I never knew you could use Algebraic tables to perform slope fields I only thought of guessing and checking by fully integrating diff. Equations. Now I'm a happy camper! 😅😅🎉😂😂
im doin calc BC 2024 lmao@@worldblazin4209
you deserve millions for your contribution to society
For a chemist, your math skills are badass!
astoundingly easy to understand as usual. thank you very much!
Very great job you did. You are a great instructor. Thanks
Thanks a lot for your guiding, it does mean alot to my coming exam
It helped me greatly, thank you.
In five minutes you just explained everything it took my prof two lectures to explain.
u the goat ong dawg
Thank you for saving my life. Without u i wouldn't pass any of college courses. I cant thank you enougghhhhh!!!!
Thanks for explaining in detail.
Cal 2
First Exam - 76
Watched OCT
Second Exam - 88
All I can say is Thank You.
Any link for when questions like this-
(In the graph, −3 < x < 3 and −3 < y < 3). This is the graph of the direction field of a
certain equation y
0 = f(x, y).
(a) Draw an approximate solution y with y(0) = 1.
(b) Draw an approximate solution y with y(1) = 0.
(c) Draw an approximate solution y with y(0) = −1.
(d) Is it possible that f(x, y) = y
^2?
(e) Is it possible that f(x, y) = x
^2 + y^2?
you made it so easy. thank you :)
Best professor on the planet
I have been enlightened thanks to this video!
Thanks it was so useful.
#1 teacher on youtube!
ما شاءالله هذا عنده شرح كل شيء
Thank you
Can this be extended to higher-order equations? :q Because it seems to be working only with 1st-order ones :q
the slope feild is the shape of its solution! thats what i was missing thanks
Thanks sir...♥️♥️♥️♥️ from India
Could you please make a video on the Existence and Uniqueness Theorem?
best best best explanation ever
Love you sir ❤from India 🇮🇳
thank you!
how would you draw a slope field of trig functions? for example x^5 - tan x
Everything was on point but the only thing I don't understand at @14:28 how the answer is that I am not getting the same
excellent
THANK YOU SO MUCH
how to choose point to make the graph
Thanks a lot 🤧👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
can you make a video on autonomous equations
Whenever I don't understand something, I always thought about this channel. Like * Oh yeah ! My CZcams learning center*
you are a math god for us. :)
Please do a video on phase lines!!!
Wooow very cool
how to find the differencial equation according to the direction field?
Good luck on the exam tomorrow 😉
In the first example, shouldn't y be 1? (derivative of x with respect to y = 1 or 0)?
Y would be x^2/2. You integrate x to solve for y. Y’ is a derivative to undo it you have to integrate
which video will have the solution of the differential equation y' = x-y . I am not able to find it.
Thankyou
Why did you put a prime to x at 4:13? Thanks a lot!
It's not prime, its x^1
Which grade gets introduced to slope fields?
Probably Calc BC which is a 12th-grade course. Or in my case, Ordinary Differential Equations which would be a college-level course around year 2 or 3
12 here AUS
shouldnt the solution to the differential equation have another term e^-x? solution : y=x-1+ce^(-x)....[as per your first order diff eq video]
thank you thank you thank yououououououououo
Wow this is so smart. Holy cowshit. Oke thanks i can really use this at my exam
This comment is so underdressed for this video
@@dryaldibread2327 wtf lol
You only live once 👏
What if you chug in a C? And make dy/dx = f(x,y) and then f(x,y) = C
The GOAT
SUPER LOGIC
I have problem on deciding the angle of the slope by looking from y'. e.g., y'=4 who can i find out the angle of the slop without using trigonmetry?
Your microphone output is always too quiet my man
or maybe your input is too low
yeah, awesome videos but it would be perfect if he quadrupled the volume
(1) clear
Wow
what a god
How to determine the direction of the slop?
Slope does not have "direction". It is one dimensional
dude you are a god i can worship anytime you wish
First
Isn't he the Khan Academy guy?
No that’s someone else
Disliked due to unbearable ads. Couldn't make it past them.
focus on the fact that you're being taught something by a guy that spends his time to help us learn
