This is a really cool concept, considering a bunch of old school cards get retrains these days. Maybe you can do a Memento version of this, where you pull a Memento version of a card and it's old school counterpart.

Honestly, im with you on the Millennium Shield. It's such an iconic card from when i was a kid. I hated McDonald's as a kid as i do now but had to go to get the packs of YuGiOh.
Well as you said there's a lot of retrains here, but Dark Magician is my favorite since it's my favorite card ever, and the art is really cool. The new Millenium Shield doesn't fall short either! INFO is a great set for sure.
An Idea I had while watching this opening was, putting together a memory game with these cards, but instead of matching the exact cards, you need to match the original to its retrain, fastest to complete wins!
Someone pointed it out already but Mementotlan Shleepy is actually a retrain of Mystical Sheep #2 so you actually got 3🎉🎉 Also it would be really fun to see this challenge again but with a more prepared set of packs (Dark magician is my favorite retrain. That new art looks like something that can be dm's alt art lol)

These re-trains are fire. No one else will care but i love the Air Eater retrain. Aerial Eater which is an ocg monster. Thanks to duelists of roses i like that card.

The Rciela cards are weird to read in english, but the japanese name is spelled ルシエラ which is pronounced like "ru-shee-eh-la" so I think that's how it's pronounced.
Seeing the pre release price of Light and Darkness Dragonlord makes me so happy I traded mine for a transaction rollback at the pre release event ya boi made a 6x profit
The retrains are the best thing about this set, but I feel like they just stuck them in here to get the nostalgic players to buy it. I'm probably just going to stick to buying singles. I always had a soft sport for Cosmo Queen. That was the better of the McDonald's pack UR's. But the Exodia support is what I really care about.
The new fiend reflection retrain has nothing to do with Fiendsmith. Something to do with the Millenium archetype Also, you pulled the new Fiend Reflection at 15:13 right after talking about it and didn’t even set it to the side
In total, I counted 14 retrains of older cards. Anyone find any more than that? edit: Also, Fienddsmith is just a new Archetype not based on any older cards. It's based more on Catholic Liturgy (i.e. Fiendsmith Sanct -> Sanctus and Tract -> Tractus, etc)

When I was a kid I loved the art because it really stands out compared to some of those other old card arts.
