I installed this mosfet in my P90 last summer, and I couldn’t be happier. It works flawlessly. I use precocking without worrying about leaving the spring compressed when in storage because you can release the tension by holding the programming button and pulling the trigger. I actually bought this mosfet to replace a Gate Warfet because I constantly had problems with the Warfet. I exchanged it a couple of times, but I always ended up with the same performance issues. The Perun AB++ eliminated all of the failures and has been extremely reliable.

Even on factory setting on my v2 hybrid am happy with and it also decocks the spring after use witch also is a nice touch i may pick up this ab++ in the future for an mk18 build

I'm trying to find a good mosfet for my krytac p90, it uses microswitches would this one work for it?

I was contemplating getting the Gate warfet for an F2000 but also wanted to get the M trigger upgrade which comes with this mosfet as an option. Ill probably just get the M trigger upgrade with this mosfet instead (its cheaper anyways and seems to have good reviews).

Just keep your trigger pressed when shooting in semi and after 4 seconds it will release the spring

@@theswagman2138 Yes you can plugin a trigger switch and the sector gear sensor to this. But the connector is imposible to find so just solder your own.

Perun is my go-to for both personal builds and customer builds. Top notch products and incredibly easy setups that are hard to screw up. I am definitely a fanboy. Thanks for the review!

It’s also great for ares, Arcturus guns that have basic microswitches, where the gearbox is proprietary to them

Amen..found that out the long way as I had been planning on putting a gate titan in my Arcturus….Nope

I use this on mi SVU (like SVD but bullpup, with a huge rod connected from the trigger to the gearbox trigger gears), I made a electronic trigger (momentary switch) and a sensor for the sector gear (detection switch like ESE31L11T) and took like 25 parts off that thing, the trigger had a horrible sponge feeling but now is just as great as any other switch based replica.
Then connected to the AB++ and works great.
The only thing is the connector for the sensors on the AB++ are impossible to find but you can solder directly and use your own, the pin schematics are specified in the instructions.
Is perfect for builds on non standard replicas like SVU.

    Excellent little mosfet for AEPs

I agree; a very good mosfet. It has a integrated electronic fuse.

Ive got one of these for my tompson, f2000 and m14. I Just wired up all the guns with a quick disconnect for the mosfet and i can swap 1 mosfet between guns.

Nice, it's an important plus point for these types of FET's, the ability to just own 1 but use it all many different AEG's/

  • @notimpressedbyyourm4932

I purchased 2 and they both do work very well. Unfortunately one of them which I installed in a UMP decided it didn’t want to turn on. Changed out the connector and no change as well as using several batteries. Got lost from there.

I installed these on my m14, and LT 20. I’m pretty sure it said it had an internal fuse on the board. But I was glad I had an extra one for my Arcturus M4. I was trying to install a gate titan on the Arcturus V2 and low and behold the gearbox Isn’t compatible. Super frustrating. Especially when the information is nowhere to be found. So I settled installing the AB++ with the Maxx pro led hop.
BTW I’d love to see a tear down of the V7 and put back. I struggled with a 160 spring and am currently have tappet plate issues on my M14 LT732. If you do have some videos on them, point me in the right direction. Thanks! Keep up the Techin’
Double checked. It does have an integrated fuse so no need for an external

Perun is dope. Plus it plays music...

  • @fserafeimgr
    @fserafeimgr Před rokem

I just don't understand how does the mosfet recognizes when the gearbox has made a cycle.. 🤔
Since there is no switch or sensor that is getting any signal/activation from sector gear, or from the cutoff lever..
Except from semi mode, where an internal mechanical trigger release happens..

This unit uses current detection. It can sense when the motor draws more and more current as the spring compresses and increases the resistance to the motor and when this power draw suddenly drops much lower as the spring is released. This isn't 100% precise so with the burst mode sometimes it gets one more or one less shot.
