Tribute to Dr Rangimārie Rose Pere

Revered author, educator, conservationist and tohunga Dr Rangimārie Rose Pere has died after a long battle with illness, aged 83. Of Ngāi Tūhoe, Ngāti Ruapani and Ngāti Kahungunu descent, Pere was a staunch keeper of traditional Māori knowledge, spirituality and wisdom.
