    Thanks for this. Very good instructions.
    One bit I do not like in the video is the "gap" on your head unit. Since they are custom made why don't they make them to fit exactly?

    If using the wire system included will it drain the battery since it’s connected directly to the battery?

    • @Rav4Gen5
      @Rav4Gen5  Před 2 lety

      This does not connect directly to a battery. You can buy the wire harness kit which has a switch and relay to power it on/off. Or buy a switch panel like I have for the same purpose but allows more accessories.

    Are there any engine upgrades that are available for the rav4? Got a 2019 XLE and would love to upgrade a bit. Great videos!

      I only know of a obd tool that adjust the throttle response. I would love more HP. Lol.

    • @Rav4Gen5
      @Rav4Gen5  Před 2 lety

      The hood? You pull the lever under the steering wheel. It’s not dependent on the status of the car.

      @@SwatBeatsOfficial Make sure your doors are unlocked and/or the car is in Park. I was playing with my settings and changed them to only unlocking the drivers door. I couldn’t figure out why the hatch wasn’t opening then unlocked it and it opened. I changed those setting back pretty quick.

    • @Rav4Gen5

      Very light off road I would say. $30k is not little money to risk for me :)

      Live a little! I've taken my Prime to a trail for the 1st time this weekend. It so fun off roading in EV. BTW I don't see anywhere that I can tap power to. Unlike the Hybrids I dont have thar bolt that I can put a nut to tap power from 😒🤔
