@@mar754 china isn't homogenous though it just suppresses and oppressed it's minorities (Tibetan, Uighur and a multitude more) in fact China is one of the worst countries for it's minorities it's common knowledge that if you arent a Han Chinese you are a second class citizen.

I’m not sure but I think at this time Moses hasn’t started learning canto... not sure with the timeline tho as this clip is 5 years old.

To be fair Moses' canto is not good, and has an accent unlike his Mandarin. He needs work on the vocab I think because we speak with a ton of slang and loanwords. But as he is well aware, practice makes perfect. Can't wait to see him master it, canto is a dying language.

Because unlike the White Europeans, who have been brainwashed, The Chinese are proud of their culture. What do you think that THEY would say in China if we went over and told them that they need more "Diversity"? They'd immediately know that these people want to eventually wash their whole culture and traditions away. Unlike whites, they see plainly how destructive this way of thinking is. The only reason for a white person to learn Chinese would be for business...they aren't interested in being around people who aren't like them. A normal and natural response that is all but washed out of the White European culture.

This reminds me of a story my dad used to tell me. He took frequent business trips down to Mexico, and one time on a flight he met a German guy. Each of them didn't speak a lick of each other's language, but somehow they found out the other spoke Spanish and bonded the whole way there. Language is pretty incredible
i had the same experience as your Dad on a train to Rome with a Japanese seat mate...i spoke no Japanese, she spoke no English but we both spoke Italian...it was like tapping into a part of your brain that you never knew existed, made all the hard work worth every minute!! I know exactly how your dad felt!! Great story!

Yeah taking Moses' course might not be a smart move, until he can show successful students of his class it may be best to take an offical class or learn on your own.

I am American, adopted, and never knew much about my biological family growing up. But, always deep down had interest in learning languages. Started German, Spanish..never became fluent. Gave up on French. But still, deep desire to learn languages..started studying Russian and I actually learned the alphabet and pronunciation in less than 20 minutes. It was easier than I thought it would be to remember! Something about different languages absolutely fascinates me. Years later, I find out about my biological family. My grandmother from Oregon spent years in Russia as a college English professor teaching Russian students English. She spoke fluent Mandarin and Cantonese. Brilliant woman. I think I got my interest in languages from her. I am absolutely loving this channel! His laugh as he speaks in different languages is infectious, coming together with something in common. Just awesome

My classmates and I were all in a bar in taiwan the other week, our only common language is Mandarin Chinese so we’re all just sitting there drinking and chatting in Chinese even though none of us are native Chinese speakers. The locals on the table next door were like “this is the first time I’ve seen a group of foreigners only speaking Chinese!” Haha

@@Chandasouk I didn't know he was on Worldstar. I found his channel earlier this year because I started taking Japanese more seriously. One of his Japanese level ups popped up in my recommendations and the rest is history. That's cool that he was on Worldstar, alot of people go viral from there.
