    This video does show a better perspective on how it is set up compared to the other video when you put it together.

    I do like how this one is sort of a review of all the battle belt stuff you've put together in the last couple videos. very interested to see how this holds up after a few months to a year of consistent use.

      Thanks for the comment and support! That's kinda the layout I was aiming for with that group of videos. Kinda offer a step by step process from purchase to build and end with the final result. There are still going to be some slight changes I am gonna make for both my Ranger Green and Multicam Black loadouts to improve on. I will likely post follow up videos of those adjustments down the line.
      The template for those batch of videos looks to be pretty successful thus far so I may down the line start another build project for a new loadout of a different color. I'm thinking coyote brown or multicam. So be on the lookout for those coming in the future.

    Dump pouch should always be mesh. That way any small degree or rocks can fall out. You might drop a mag while training or in a life or death situation and when pick/grab your mag no telling what you els you might’ve picked up

    • @TacticalNewbie101
      @TacticalNewbie101  Před rokem

      Thanks for the comment and suggestion. My only complaint with mesh is that depending on the material it can easily rip. I have both mesh and non mesh dump pouches. I personally like the non mesh material but won't shy away if I come across a high quality mesh DP.

    • @stephenedwards5063
      @stephenedwards5063 Před rokem +1

      Not when going full speed. I won’t have time to inspect my magazine in a real gun fight. I like to train the way I fight that would be a horrible habit

      @@stephenedwards5063 when in an active engagement, partial or empty mags go ij the dump pouch, right. So how much are you planning on firing in one engagement, i carry 7 mags on my carrier, 1 on the belt, one in the weapon and 4 more on my ruck. I dont see myself firing 360 rounds non stop.

    • @mrhkp2000
      @mrhkp2000 Před rokem +1

      I’m curious as to what size holes in the mesh dump pouch you have that allows rocks to fall through the holes. Most dump pouches on the market are designed to allow water to pass through. Now the Safariland holsters on the other hand has plugs that can be removed so debris can pass through.

      Thanks for the comment! I plan on doing a "top 5 segment likely next month or a bit after for the Low Budget Loads (Belts and Plate Carriers)I have featured thus far. I just didn't want to post slow close to my 2023 review which is kinda a similar video.
      A bit of a spoiler for you ahead of the video. This is likely where they will fall ranking wise.
      1) DOTACTY Loadout (Ranger Green)
      2) TACTICON ARMAMENT Loadout (Coyote Brown)
      3) PETAC GEAR Bison Belt Clone (Muliticam)
      4) KRYDEX Battle Belt (Black)
      5) YAKEDA Battle Belt (Muliticam Black)
      It's a ranking of my favorite Loadout more so than the quality of any specific gear attached to the Loadout.
      Be on the lookout for the official video with official ranking later in March or early April. The ranking may or may not change by then but that's where they stand now.

      Thanks for the comment and check up on how the gear is holding out! I did do a "Low Budget Loadout" Review showing how the belt looks so far and is holding up in comparison to the others. Feel free to check that out!
      Overall though the belt and gear is holding up very well! After all the abuse I have put it through it still is going strong! I will do more reviews in the future to track how it and other belts are holding up!

    So I recently also watched your ranger Green plate carrier video, and I have a question. Is all of this gear expected to be used in airsoft only, or are you going to be using them with real steel weapons?

    • @TacticalNewbie101
      @TacticalNewbie101  Před rokem

      Thanks for the comment and question! Honestly the gear is currently used for both. At this point being a literal newbie in the tactical space a lot of the gear I am getting my hands on is meant for cross application in both airsoft and real steel training until I get to a point where I can use the "cheaper stuff" for airsoft while the more high end official gear for real steel.
      The Ranger Green PC is a step up in quality from my Multicam black Yakeda PC I bought primarily as a quick budget first purchase to start my collection.
      Right now my channel is obviously heavily focused on airsoft simply due to that being the medium for safe and budget friendly training before crossing over into the real steel domain.
      Unfortunately the state I live in has fairly strict real steel requirements for both pistols and specific rifles. Only area that tends to be fairly relaxed is for shotguns and "hunting rifles". So that process is a little slower compared to the simplicity of airsoft.
      Hopefully that makes sense. Thanks again for the comment.

    • @garrethinze9738
      @garrethinze9738 Před rokem +2

      @@TacticalNewbie101 makes perfect sense to me, I was just asking because the way it seems is that it is perfectly setup for airsoft, but if you're using real steel magazines for example, you would be carrying quite a lot of weight. In my opinion a good rule of thumb for real steel magazines is generally to carry seven reloads on you, this is also what I learned while being in the infantry in the US army, I would also suggest getting rid of most of the magazines you have on your pistol draw side, because those will interfere with your pistol draw whenever you're doing a transition. I personally really like the content, and I like to see new people being introduced into this environment, because I feel like it is part of our Marshal American heritage. Keep up the good work and remember ounces equal pound, pounds equal pain.
      P.s. is it overstepping to ask what state you live in?

    • @TacticalNewbie101
      @TacticalNewbie101  Před rokem

      @@garrethinze9738 That's all vital information to take into consideration moving forward and I will certainly apply those reccomendations to my real steel load out. Thanks for the support and advice!
      No you are not overstepping by asking the state. I live in Maryland. Generally their gun laws are not as strict as let's say California or New York but they are annoying enough to be a pain in the ass for a gun owner. Especially for pistols, gotta get a HQL license in order to buy a pistol and they have a list of banned "assault style" firearms

    • @garrethinze9738
      @garrethinze9738 Před rokem +1

      @@TacticalNewbie101 holy crap dude I'm sorry to hear that, I'm in Texas myself so thankfully we don't have those restrictions, but I digress, I would say there are some options for you or there that are more easily acquired. For example you could look into the vrpa40 12 ga, out even like Ruger American rifle, these are both magazine fed style weapons that are not semi auto. Just always remember that is much easier to setup your gear to carry more than you need them it is too actually carry all that stuff. I used to think I could feasibly carry 10+1 fully loaded AR 15 mags plus like 4+1 pistol mags and a pistol, found out the hard way that that is way to much weight and nose/sound discipline is damn near impossible lol
