You should definitely try carian sovereignty on milady. Milady swings fast, and building it around magic and using a staff in your offhand would make a fun spell-blade build

With high Faith you can also cast Aspect of the Crucible Incantations and boost the effectiveness of them by wearing the accompanying Crucible Hammer-Helm (new in the DLC)
So you're going to want to engage fights with aspect of the crucible: horns because it knocks the enemy on the ground giving you exact enough time to use the crucibles weapon's weapon arts. Once you learn the spacing of the horns you quietly learn how to lock enemies into this. If the buckle up under a shield give a boop with your crucible tail. I'm convinced all the spells were mants to compliment the weapons play style.
Strength/faith is the best build in the game. You have so many op options, and any faith build is a lot of fun, plus you have a ton of options for a main weapon.
All scorpian charms are garbo and not worth it, however they are exceptionally bad to use on mele builds that trade. You can argue that the magic one for pure caster is viable for sure but not this one. The damage increase you get isnt that much and its also of the very worst damage type to get a gain in. You would actually get more holy damage out of a flox canvas talisnan for your crucible incants. So instead of that, since you already doubled down the charged attacks mindset and will be using a charged attack flask, goahead and pop you self on an axe talisman. Now if you pressing F to doubt on that well, lets be real you should be rocking the dragoncrest shield talisman anyways. All builds only have 3 slots due to it being usedon all builds

Ordovis' greatsword is better in that it's faster, costs less fp & deals more stance damage than the hammer.

Yeah this hammer needs a rework, Although i doubt fromsoft would do something like that.

i recommend it if you want to experience it without the hassles of NG+ but its not necessary.
Holy damage is just fine in the DLC its not bad like it is in base game at the last few bosses IMO

Mimic lol. Also I had to learn most of his moveset, and people are always willing to help others on that boss as well. Don't be afraid of help!

So this might be true in the higher NG+ Arena, but not true in the first and second playthrough for sure. In my opionion. Good tips though
