Playing through the recent Spider-Man game I noticed that enemies yeeted off skyscrapers where webbed to the sides of buildings.
I like to think that Batman does something similar

It was a shitty way to keep it pg friendly because it doesn’t make sense does he attach a device to that just automatically deploys well why does that work in other situations. Personally I would have preferred him shooting to handed webs to towards the guy going over the ledge and yanking the other end down to the ground
He doesn't, enemies that fall off tall buildings are still somehow alive without any bleeding or broken bones. :(

This is how it happened, this is how the militia soldier died. A couple of seconds ago a militia soldier died. I punched him and killed the evil bastard myself. He actually fell, deep down I knew that he was dead. I was just waiting for everyone to confirm that they don't care.
