I always had a soft spot for these square body gm cars. In highschool I had a 79 Pontiac Catalina and beat the balls out of it everyday untill I sold it. "Wish I never sold it". It could handle jumping the train tracks near my highschool at 55 when my buddy tryed it with his 86 Camaro berlinetta he totalled it. That was so funny.

I’m curious how much better the engine would have been with the rocker arms removed on the cylinder with the blow buy and the two spark plug wires in tack
probably a lot, since it would run on 5 cylinder. it ran on 2 cylindre, maybe 2 an a half . those cylinder that have the 2 plug wire chewed up ''was fine'' enough to give almost twice the power
