WORLD RANGER DAY

🖤Today is World Ranger Day…
💚 A day observed to commemorate the rangers who are injured or killed in the line of duty.
🖤These incredible male & female rangers play a critical role in protecting our planet’s natural treasures, cultural heritage and biodiversity.🦏🌿
⚠️This year, 140 rangers in 37 countries are reported to have lost their lives while working to protect nature.
⚠️Over 1300 rangers have died on duty in the last ten years alone.
🖤 These brave men and women put their lives on the line every day to protect the world’s most endangered wildlife.
🕊️Today, and all days we remember those who have lost their lives or been injured in the line of duty.
We honour those rangers, who have made the ultimate sacrifice, while protecting our planet’s natural treasures and cultural heritage...
💚All of the rangers we have worked with are nothing short of amazing... what you all do every single day blows our minds.
