I got this same pedal recently and love it. I don’t have darkglass money or else I would have supported them by buying the real one. I just want to get the best tone possible by the means and budget I have. Some people will rip on that, and that’s okay, they can buy my gear for me if they’d like.

I would love people to buy ne gear as well if they wanted to haha. I get some negative feedback about using clone pedals too. Money is a factor, as well as availability! Specially the company that only do short runs to keep the value high... We need to do what is on our means, that is all.

My only bone to pick was not enough higher mids or treble, for clank. The bass a bit higher in the mix gave it way more aggression in my opinion. Possible that a couple knob twists on the amp would have really made that thing come alive.

That is a very reasonable issue to have. You are right, maybe should have pushed the mids and treble a bit more. Unfortunately going from room to room when filming these myself to change the amp settings wouldn't make for a good watch... But you are correct, that would be the better way to approach getting the best sound you can get.

Cool pedal! I do really like the B3k clone I built, and maybe I'll pick one of these up one day.
One thing to keep in mind is your distortion level vs. the clean level. when you played with the blend knob, your clean tone was much quieter than the distorted tone. I'd first set the output of the pedal to the same clean level, 0% blend, as it is when bypassed (unity gain) unless you specifically want to drive the front end of the amp, then set blend 100 and flip back and forth on blend and set the level which is your wet volume so it matches the clean volume, then 50% blend is truly 50/50. Of course, when you change distortion, you'll have to tweak level again.

I haven't tried that. I'll have to keep my eyes out for it and see if it goes on sale.
