I think if any of Momonga's friends were with him, he probably wouldn't have altered Albedo's background. It's also possible, depending on who and how many of his friends were with him, that he may have not accidentally given Demiurge the idea, and incentive to try and take over the New World. On the other hand, it is ENTIRELY possible that some of them may think it's NOT a bad idea.
Oh no multiple members actually tried to get the guild to agree to it once so they would actually even more indirectly make demiurge hear that too again lol but if ulbert was there haha he’d just straight up tell Demi we’re doing it

Honestly in many ways a straightforward hero archetype might have caused more problems for the New World than a villain. Given most of the countries are dark fantasy settings rather than fantasy settings.

"going back" implies that they don't exist anymore in the original world. It seems reasonable to assume that the Momonga that exists in the new world is the Momonga game avatar having gained consciousness in the same way the NPCs have, and inherited the memories of its player rather than being the human Suzuki Satoru somehow transported to a new world and transformed into an undead monster.
@@TrueFork I used going back because: A.) We have no idea which happened, it could be the avatar turned sentient, or it could be the human's consciousness possessed his avatar, and B.) Even if it is that the avatars are basically mental clones of the humans, they don't know that, so they would assume they were going back.

@@TrueFork Oh of course, but Momonga changed so much because he became undead, which have no strong emotions and he had very low Karma on top of that. Some, like Ulbert, would probably change to a similar degree, while Touch Me would probably stay much closer to their original menrality.

It really depens on when and how many and which ones appear.
The author said himself that the story would've been more different and would lean more to being wholesome than dark fantasy.

@@irgendeineperson5350 Also they can't. Nazarick was Isekaied due to the world items in their vault. None of the people left who were still playing Yggdrasil had World Items on them as Momonga did. They are all in the vault. So it can never be, which is quite tragic.

I think they probably feel bad for Ainz. Maybe they could get angry, but for companions they have played for years, they could also realise that ruling the Tomb and making them go to the "Good side" would be increadible difficult for a normal man, they just have to see Demiurge´s personality and actions to feel bad for Ainz

to be fair, they would only save other heteromorphic entities because they were treated as garbage and racism by humans.
The thing is that leaving aside the pain or trauma of lossing your family and friends, they would have a lot to gain if they decide to stay in NW. I mean, why living a boring life as a normal worker in a extremily polluted world when you can be a god and achieve anything you want with ease in a new exotic world ?
For them, conquering the world would be extremily easy but ruling it all together would be difficult because they wouldnt agree with each other at many things.
Imagine, after eons of ruling the whole world, there will eventually be a civil war between the Supreme Beings, many will have to pick a side(probably good-karma and bad-karma etc)
The ones who would truly suffer are the NPCs who have to watch their creators battle

Sadly the guardians would probably remain as guardians as Ains would have no need of them with his guildmates around. I think things would turn out fairly similar because the creations have already taken on the bulk of their creators attitude and beliefs.
Sadly, I think Albedo's deathsquad will be part of the ending of overlord....
Honestly this is the ultimate What If story for Overlord that all of us would love to see attempted!
We do know that the Platinum Dragon Lord is on the lookout for Players and that they have a rough schedule.
I agree with the notion that the Guild would remain relatively human if they reincarnated together in Nazarick. They have their beloved creations with them, touchstones to normalcy and most importantly they would most likely function as they did in Yggdrasil, as a democratic council voting on major decisions which that alone would curtail a lot of more extreme adventurism.
Ainz Ooal Gown (the guild, not Momonga) will likely be a very positive force in general, if mostly isolationist. Touch Me would want to intervene in any egregious atrocities but I can see most of the guild spending most of their time searching for a way home.
The spoiler would be Platinum Dragon Lord. He knows just what a Player can do, the Eight Greed Kings were bad enough but 41 of them at the same time?! And they seem to get along fairly well? This would be the kind of apocalyptic scenario that he always feared. If Platinum Dragon Lord decides to fight them (and he most likely will since they have the numbers to subjugate future Players), he would hold NOTHING back. It would be a preemptive strike that would otherwise be mistaken for the wrath of god.
With their powers and World Items, Nazarick can survive such a strike and start the very doomsday scenario that Platinum Dragon Lord sought to avoid. Ironically, a lot of Newworlders would be on Nazarick's side as they see the otherworlders as their benefactors. Platinum could depopulate the New World to get rid of people who planned to leave anyway.
The end scenario could be so bitter for Platinum Dragon Lord where he is defeated and brought before the guild for judgement. There he notices the portal. He is informed that they were ready to leave some time ago but stayed to protect their friends in the New World from his attacks.
Cue the spirit of a Dragon Lord snapping in half.
Return home? Would they really? It’s explained the world they come from is actually pretty terrible, and none of them lived exactly healthy or happy lives, apart from Touch me who I believe has a family.

@@ZhongliArchonofSwag If they were able to return home with their powers and tier magic it would be a certainty they would try to return. They could both return to their families AND have the power to fix the broken state of their world. What ever tech that existed there would not be able to resist the the power they would bring with them. Assuming it worked like how the new world reacted to the introduction of the tier magic system, the existing humans on Earth wouldn't be able to use it but any new ones born after could. So yeah there would be no resistance they could bring to Earth world conquest should they decide to do that as soon as they arrive.
Touchme would probably kill Demiurge for what he did. Because of his high sense of justice he would never stand for the ‘happy farm’.
Don't think so. He would probably ask Momonga for arbitration and depending on the result either he or Ulbert would leave the guild like what happened in the game.
And possibly come to blows later but I don't think they would pin it on Demiurge.
Now if only Touchme gets to the New World and not Ulbert, he would possibly persecute Demiurge after leaving the guild.
Another thing to remember is that Touchme was no human character but a Dragonoid or something and his efforts were mostly centered on helping hunted heteromorphs so it's questionable how much sympathy he'll have with humans.

They'd probably given their buddy Momonga a good stern talking to for what he's let their children get away with doing, then they, I hope, would give him a big hug then proceed to help him hammer out the flaws and other nasty little happenings in his Kingdom. Well this is assuming Albedo doesn't try to kill them. If there was ever one crime where Momonga would seriously consider executing an NPC for, it'd be murdering one of his dear friends, he'd let them get away with anything else, but that, oh boy would his wrath be something to behold.
I don't think there'd be any amount of 'Emotional Suppression' that would keep Ainz from going deep rage mode
If Albedo actually gets a chance to harm one of Ainz Friends she will finally get the penetration from Ainz she always wanted.
Albedo dare not risk killing them because that would turn the whole tomb against her. You imagine shaltear, demiurge, sebas mare and aura hearing she wants to kill their gods??
@@minatodroger7890 But the fact of the matter is that’s her plan if they show up. That “supreme being recovery team” she formed was actually an assassination squad she built of NPCs who are entirely loyal to Momonga and not the other supreme ones. Her critical mistake was putting Pandora’s Actor on it, especially when Rubedo would likely have been sufficient enough, but that’s neither here nor there.
She fully intends to kill the other supreme ones, with the intent that they are Momonga’s only weakness, and they are unworthy to rule at the side of the one who stayed with them until the end.

It could happen possibly is ainz misses them too much and he has access to that world item where you could essentially speak to the devs.
i bet many would die to Albedo death squad even before they get to meet Aizn. most of them are not PvP focused players. and only a hand full of them are able to fight on par with multiple high level NPC that designed to ambush and kill them. not to mention Pandora Actor, who would know exactly how to fight and counter each and every one of them. and further more, they dont even have their equipment with them, for most of them leave their equipment behind in the treasure room before leaving the game.
Honestly, they could probably return to the old world with just the Gate spell as it was used to travle thru the nine worlds so it could probably do that in the new world as well.
This is based on D&D & I would equate the New World & the Old World to be in two different spheres. For those who don't know Gate is used to travel inbetween planes of existence (plane of fire, the nine hells, mount celestia, etc) & all these planes are within one sphere or universe so to speak. If the gate spell could go inbetween spheres then a new challenge arises, would they be denied by the ruler of the plane who has to final say if that plane has some sort of deity.

I doubt that would have happened at all if his friends were around. He seemed kinda like a kid doing something he knew was normally bad but was able to do given the circumstances.

If they came with him at the beginning it would probably get lost in the shuffle but if they came later he might not be so understanding. Also her creator comes off as kind of possessive so he may be outraged that Ainz would tamper with his perfect creation. Or he may realize how changing that last line completely changed her character into an uncontrollable psychopath so he may try to destroy her before she destroys the guild.
I mean she's based off something call Gap moe(did I spell that right?) Which is basically a contradictory originally she was meant to be the perfect elegant wife but with a twisted and sadistic mind and personality with that of a bitch in Japan that words meaning would be more fitting for the English slur slut now because of ainz she looks like a perfect elegant wife and loves her lord momonga obsessively to the point where her twisted and sadistic nature make's her a wee bit yandere putting anyone that would speak badly about him to the axe even plotting the death of the other supreme beings to secure lord momonga's rule as you can see the contradiction is still there perfect on the outside twisted and evil on the inside would he be very confused yes but the all-important premise of her character Gap Moe is still present so would most likely go eh probably concerned with the whole plotting his death part but besides that eh maybe initiate overprotective father mode at the worst

i totally agree with you, but even if the SBs somehow appear in the NW, they won't have any of their divine class gear and weapons, so basically they'll be a lot weaker than they were in Yggdrasil and won't stand a chance against Albedo's assassination squad.
Ainz has all their gear adorning Golems in the Treasury...they would be fully equipped as soon as Ainz saw them...probably to his own peril and detriment. As it seems all the other Player groups have fallen to internal strife

I think based on momonga's during S1 could very well capture the same reaction we would have for the supreme beings. Momonga had emotion supression so I would assume the same would happen for every other monsterous supreme being. Another thing to mention were his opinions of the guardians before growing bond with them throuought the story. His intial opinions were that the guardians reflected a lot of his guild mates making him fond of their company; without this mask they're simply pawns to him without second thought.
With all this information I would assume the supreme beings would have little to no emotion to any other nazarick borne charcters. However, they will have an opinion on their own unique creations within Nazarick. While also admiring their guild mate's traits held deep inside the npc's but not the npc themselves.
Sounds like fun.
My idea is that the Supreme Beings might arrive in the world in succession acting as the new Demon King of the era. Each one making the world slightly stronger and eventually being able to defeat one of them.
I still think they will start to lose thier humanity eventually.
Ulbert would visit quite a few nobles with demi.
HeroHero was the last one to visit the great tomb so he should have biggest chance to appear.
Meanwhile the collective of dragons that fought the otherworldly in the past shit their nonexistent pants when finding out not just 10, but 41 powerful beings have shown up, with multiple world class items AND an entire base with multiple servants.
Lord Touch Me would kill Momonga. He might have him revived later, but he would kill him first.
Which is unfair given Momonga is honestly trying his best for someone who has no idea what he's even doing and is trapped in a body that makes empathy incredibly hard.
I'm not so sure Touch Me would kill Momonga. After all he too would have an heteromorph mindset. Maybe he won't be pleased, but he won't feel a strong kinship for humans. That's for sure. And he would see that Momonga is a just ruler outside of a few massacres. So yeah I can't see Touch Me killing his buddy just for some distant human Kingdom, while others human kingdoms prosper under the rule of their guild.
Every one of them abandoned the Tomb and left Momonga to cope with everything by himself so they really have no right to complain.

I don't see him letting Momonga off with any kind of light punishment for genocide, unbelievably inhumane torture, unwarranted war mongering, and forcing poor Sebas to choose between his duty and life or his girl and everything he believes in.
@@duddude321 Yeah but that was when he was 100% human. With his avatar body messing with his mind, he will not have strong kinship for humans. It's a fact. Just look at Momonga and Minotaur Sage. They are a little nice to humans only because they were one of them in the past. As far as we know the goblin player didn't care about humans at all. Surshana is the only exception. But he is in the human camp only because his guild was predominently of the human race, and he wanted to preserve the legacy of his guild.
All the evidence point in the direction of Touch Me being a little saddened by what happened with one kingdom of humans, but not bent out of shape by it.

One thing, one wild card I consider is Pandora's Actor. Ain't mind reading practically a passive for that guy? so if curois he could read some of the guild members' minds, well provided that they all don't have mind blocking abilities. We could say that there is an internal struggle & he might leap the shark by acting before being ordered to which could lead to that situation.
PA knows he was created but to be even less than what he thought he originally was but with some of the members that might think less of the NPCs, I still would think would unmove PA. Knowing that the members were once human playing a VRMMO (or whatever it was called), could leave PA wondering & asking around, even asking other NPCs. To be a plaything is one thing but to be a plaything to a human is another.
That wouldn't change much, they still created them so they'd still be loyal.

@@wehtawnikrap problem with that is he knows just how important momonga's friends are to him and is waaaaay less emotionally unstable then Albedo. He'd never do anything to intentionally upset his creator, and turning on any supreme being would do that. And that they're still the same as his creator would mean he'd still respect them. Especially if they came back to surprise and hang out with momonga, given how happy that'd make him. Albedo is only that way because they, in her eyes, betrayed nazerick and more importantly momonga. Hell even when Pestonia and Nigredo, integral parts of nazerick merely stopped a baby from dying that had been taken by Demiurge when attacking the kingdom she wanted to kill them. Death to traitors is the only punishment to Albedo, Pandora's Actor is faar more reasonable. Also keep in mind that npcs are in a lot of ways reflections of their creators so that's another reason he wouldnt do that.
....if everyone left the future world, it would simply clean up on its own = the planet wouldn't die!

It is also quite possible that if they all was there... especially Blue Planet...they might just want to stay...or at least a few...touch me having a family back home would want to leave but I'm sure blue Planet would wanna stay and keep this world clean and pristine and destroy any idiots that try to make it like earth

There will be a civil war between them and they will divide that world among themselves. Some would form group or pair..some would go solo. some would become nomads. not wanting the trouble of managing a territory. Some would go mad because they dont want to be there. others will build nations and become a god kings or queens. Actually I would love for this to happen.
8 greed kings did not betray each other. Downfall of castle and country world item was likely used on them just like shaltear. The people who live in nazarick inherently see themselves as separate from the new world. The lore that specifies this is backed into the players as well. This is the reason momonga does not feel anything for anyone but his guild. This analysis is older so it can be forgiven.

If there’d be a civil war, Momonga could take the W. Pandoras Actor + Rubedo and maybe Albedo. Some of the other sb would maybe even with Momonga.

Well most of them would agree with ainz decisions if they actually have a sence of logic because nazarik can't last without their actions and if am ainz ill be pissed to actually hear them against my opinion. they left him alone for years for that matter.
It's also possible that they will be unconsciously subservient to ainz himself because he is their leader normally
