Agreed. I have been listening to Ye since the beginning, this is in my top 5 by him without a doubt. So simple in execution, yet complex in its pathos, it blows my mind how overlooked this song is. To me, this song is emblematic of 808s and is a perfect canvas that we paint our own experiences on.

I had gone to the mental hospital for attempted suicide after one of my best friends went to the hospital after a horrible fall off of a building. They diagnosed me with bipolar 1 and I was in a manic episode. I thought that my life had been fabricated and that I was living in the Truman show. That my friend wasn't really hurt and that all of the abuse I'd been through growing up was all planned. As revenge I tried to throw myself off a building before being tackled and saved by a security guard. Shortly after I had gotten out of the hospital I went to the theater and watched this. There wasn't anyone else in the imax aside from me and I found the whole performance so beautiful. I had tears in my eyes and found so much hope in life that had been missing. Since then I've been working to get my life on track and I'm taking it one day at a time. I love you Mr. West. You've done so much for me and so many others. You have helped me learn that my illness doesn't define me and build so much self esteem over the years. For whatever it is that you were or are currently battling in your life, I hope that you are able to find meaning from it and that there is light at the end of the tunnel. That goes to Ye and anyone else who may have read this. May god, the universe or whatever else have a plan for us. May we all find peace and meaning in our lives. You aren't alone in this.
