don't forget that at the end of absolute carnage Cletus used the Grendel to become a god and he could control any symbiote. so both of marvels main symbiotes have become gods

Uh Venom (specifically Eddie) hasn't been a super villain for most of his existence as a character and was before Mike Costa and Donny Cates a anti-hero.

You're right that he is mostly a anti-hero but Mike and Donny are having him transition to full super hero. Which makes Venom to be one of the few comic characters to have a lasting redemption arc that matters that can rival Vegeta of DB.
I guess this explains why Venom is merging into the MCU now. A storyline this killer has to make it to the big screen.

I wished Knull would’ve put up more of a fight. I mean, it’s the god of light vs the god of darkness, sounds like it should’ve been more of a battle of equals
Light always triumphs
Light and dark are always in equal power. Otherwise there s no such thing as balance. The thing why the light always wins is because some other power back it up to win against the darkness. Like what the god of light did to Eddie. The god of light is powerful, but it is also similar to symbiote, with a strong host it can become much more powerful. But if light and dark battles solo, there s no winner.
How can the heat of a sun kill Knull? WTF, the core of suns can't even hurt silver surfer, let alone galactus who sometimes dips into suns to feed his hunger.

Venom has always been my favorite marvel character. He has such an amazing character arc. So many great comics

Pretty funny considering Todd McFarlane (The person who illustrated and drew Venom for the first few issues of hos appearance) stated he'd rather draw Spidey in his red and blue suit since the black suit didn't feel right. Todd liked drawing the black suit more for venom because it fit him more.

I highly disagree, while they did skip Venom's start as a villain, Sony was able to do one of the very few faithful adaptions of Venom. (specifically his original 90s run of miniseries after miniseries) The MCU would just have him as a villain and then kill him off despite Eddie being a anti-hero for most of his existence as a comic book character.

Venom has never been a R rated character, with Venom always being marketed to general audiences. Venom on the surface may seem like one thanks to the general misconception of the character that Mac Gargan started (as he was the one to first start seriously eating people) and not helped by other media adaptions besides video games mostly being very off but in actuality Eddie's books are similar to Spider-Man, with the criminals deaths never reaching the Punisher or Deadpool's level. Only Carnage has ever gone R level and that was only in 2 books where neither Venom nor Spider-Man was present.
That ending gave me chills, what an epic one, I definitely gon go check that, even the artwork is amazing too.

Epic ending. This Cates Venom run has been my favourite comic book. It’s been on my pull from issue 1 and this king in black event has been so good.

Plus venom doesn’t have to use energy based attacks, I mean god(of light or normal god) venom could most likely just resort to either that axe(depending on if it’s energy based or not) or maybe just beat her to death. Ask god of light venom isn’t truly venom so is he even susceptible to fire or sound based attacks?

Hopefully they do this in the MCU. It makes sense because Gore the God butcher is in Thor love and thunder and hes only a God butcher because he possesses the Necro Sword. They should do the end credits of Thor 4 as Knull awakening from the planet of the Symbiotes and the end credits of Venom 2 would be Eddie getting his logo on his chest because it's pretty stupid at this point that he doesn't have his logo

Watching your videos on this series since I couldn't get them and being a huge Venom fan, this was epic. The character has come a long way and who knew this is where we would end up after they reintroduced Eddie Brock as Venom like 5 years ago.
