Jamaican 🇯🇲 here. I enjoyed this episode. You opened my eyes. The big media houses make it seems like Haiti has gone in the ground and everybody is running from the gunshots. Look at everybody in the streets going about their business, the kids coming from school. They look like us here in Jamaica 🇯🇲, the females look beautiful. Can't trust these big media houses at all.

Haiti is the poorest country in the Caribbean but it's GDP per capita is higher than more than half of the countries in Africa. Jamaica is the second poorest country in the Caribbean but there are only seven countries in Africa with a higher GDP per capita than Jamaica. The countries in the Caribbean GDP per capita is between three to six times that of Jamaica.I think they are doing good for themselves

Haiti has ports, if corruption wasn't running so rampant, on our border with the Dr half of billion dollars can easily be collect as taxes for part of our fiscal budget. Yon moun ka kreye pròp travay pa li. Mwen ta renmen jeunesse Ayisyen/Ayisyèn nan pran nòt. My dear, in Haiti, you go out in the morning or after the sun goes down. By eleven, twelve o'clock? It is way too hot to walk.

Big respects for you still spending genuine time out there and immersing yourself in the culture for as long as you did. I spent my Haitian flag day celebration in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. You also camouflage well amongst my people lol. However the creole can use a little brush up.
