I was given what i can only assume is a knock off version of this for Christmas. The box says it has a class 2R laser, which i can't even see exists. I am scared to turn it on for fear of damaging my eyes if i happen to look at the laser.
Hmm, that doesn’t sound good. If the lasers don’t come on then it may be faulty. Have you pressed the buttons on the remote? If that doesn’t work then I’d contact where you got it from and request a refund/exchange. Basically when I turn my one on, the stars/laser and the nebula come on automatically. Sorry I couldn’t be more helpful! Hope you get it sorted!
The stars do come on (those green dots). But the one night they were laser beams, not just dots. Is that suppose to be a feature I can turn on and off? How do we get that again? Now we just get the green stars, but no beams
Why are the "stars" green? Like no stars ever. And why are they laid out in a regular repeating pattern? Like no stars ever. Other stuff is cool, cute little character, but... why the messed up stars?!?
Because they're produced for pennies in China...and you can get it for $12. This is no different than asking why the astronaut doesn't call Mission Control for you if there's a problem...because it's a cheap plastic nightlight.
I don’t think so unfortunately. Because even if it is switch on at the wall socket/Alexa plug, you still need to either press a button on the back of the astronaut or on the remote. Good idea though!
@@mcphoney that’s alright. I got mine yesterday. If you just put the light of the laser a little lower it’s not so evident. I really love it and have been staring at it for a few times now haha
Have to agree that it is frustrating having to change the settings every time we turn it on. It’s got to the point now where I remember how to set it by just counting how many times I push each button!
Yes and no. From what Ive seen you cant get laser star projectors with real constellations etc But I know there are some home planetariums which are supposed to be fairly good. The problem is the price of them... However if you google/search for "Sega Home planetarium" or "Sega Toys Homestar Flux" that may help!
Hi Emily, that doesn’t sound good at all I’m afraid. Can you return it or ask for an exchange? Just to clarify I’ve not had any clicking noises as of yet, and it should only be the nebula that moves around. The stars are just static. Hope you can get it all sorted - how frustrating! 🤯
I’m afraid not, only what is shown in the video. Either the nebula in various colours, speeds and brightnesses with or without the stars also in various brightnesses. Hope that helps! 👌
Not all of the dots of bakery but depending on how the light is positioned etc this will cause the laser dots to stretch slightly. Still looks cool though! 👌

Maybe because of our eyes, green laser is lesser harmful than blue, red being better than green, but may not look good as stars.

I have one at home and it fell multiple times and now the lighting is all messed up I don't know how to fix it
The lights should be patterned randomly though. You can clearly see them drawing lines.

Stars isn't working in my projector. Only works fo 2 minutes max then it get dim and then completed off. Is it broken?

Maybe star lens inside the astronaut head is loose just open astronaut head and re attach the star lens
