      Hi Jazzy Florida, thanks for commenting! That's the beauty of the Xpel Stealth PPF, it will keep the factory frozen finish as intended as well as protecting it from any stone chips and scratches!

    I have a stupid question, can a car wrapped with stealth PPF go through automatic car wash?

    • @NewlookdetailingUk
      @NewlookdetailingUk  Pƙed rokem +2

      Hi There Sam,
      We do not recommend using those automatic car washes at all to be honest let alone with Stealth PPF. With those automatic car washes they end up causing more damage to your car than you think as the brushes they use will micro scratch your paintwork causing those awful swirl marks you see on the majority of peoples cars.
      going through them with PPF on your car you run the risk of the jets getting too close to the film and could potentially lift the film.
      If you have any other questions feel free to ask!

    Was there a big change in colour? or was there a big change in finish of te frozen paint so more glossy or less glossy or just the same? Thanks!

    • @NewlookdetailingUk
      @NewlookdetailingUk  Pƙed rokem

      Hi there Lucas! With the Stealth film on frozen paint there is a very minimal change to the finish which makes it perfect for protecting already satin/frozen paint.

    • @NewlookdetailingUk
      @NewlookdetailingUk  Pƙed 2 lety

      Hi There! Paint protection film varies depending on the car and the amount of coverage you are looking for. We currently don't have any stores in New Jersey but if you click the link below it will take you to the Xpel dealer locator where you will be able to find the closes installer to you. If you have any other questions don't hesitate to ask.
      .
      Thanks!

    Question...you can't paint correct prior to installing the film correct? Since paint correction requires polishing and doing so with the frozen paint will ruin the finish.

    • @NewlookdetailingUk
      @NewlookdetailingUk  Pƙed 2 lety +2

      Great question. You are absolutely correct about polishing any matte or satin finishes. On cars with those finishes the key is to take your time to ensure the area is clean and free from any contamination prior to applying either a ceramic coating or ppf.
      On a gloss vehicle we don’t usually polish before doing paint protection film unless it is so bad that it will affect the look of the ppf or the customer requests it. This is because as part of the prep stages immediately before film is fitted we like to once again clay bar the surface and then squeegee the panel clean as you can’t use a cloth as it would risk contamination. This part of the prep stage would undo the time and customers money spent on correcting it first.
      We always try to be as transparent as possible and we don’t want to waste either our customers money or our time, time which can be used in other areas of the detail to ensure the customer gets get best service we can deliver

    Does the Xpel change the way the frozen paint should be washed?

    • @NewlookdetailingUk
      @NewlookdetailingUk  Pƙed rokem +1

      Hi There William thanks for leaving a comment! The Xpel film would actually make washing a frozen painted car a lot easier as you don't have to be as causious on the protected areas. The beauty of paint protection film is that you don't have to worry about marring the paintwork when washing your car as any of the usal marks will just self heal!

    I thought ur not supposed to wash frozen cars with soap?

    • @NewlookdetailingUk
      @NewlookdetailingUk  Pƙed rokem

      Only soaps that contain no waxes or gloss enhancers 👍 Just like our NLD Wash which is completely safe on all finishes including vinyl and ppf. www.nld-uk.co.uk/product-page/nld-wash-ph-neutral-shampoo
