Irene gained much more confidence in her voice this year, even when she sang the parts of Joy during the R to V concerts in Europe you could notice her vocal stability

I definitely feel Wendy could totally do the producing too... I mean during the FMR era recording we see her say that she re-arranged the instrumental using Logic software. So, she may have some hidden skills ;)

Hope we can get more and more footage of our beloved ladies. Everone looks got more power on her voice, especially Wendy by musical thatre experience? and Irene. Irene's line at the beginning of the Chill Kill was unexpected. Happy to see Irene looked more relaxed and comfortable in this comeback after the trouble. Now lets hope our maknae Yeri recover, RV needs Yeri's energy 💜

Just keep in mind, we don't know if Irene wants to record and promote a solo. I can clearly hear her progress as well, but unlike Seulgi or Joy or Wendy, perhaps she doesn't feel she wants to record a full mini. Remember Seulgi talking about how hectic and demanding 28 Reasons was to plan, execute, promote and finalise? When you have to take part in every desicion, it can get overwhelming. I'd love to hear a solo from her, but I don't have any idea that she really wants to

Irene has said many times that she wants to have a solo album, even recently she said that she plans to perform for a long time, she is ready is the company that does not let her grow as an artist

From the groups I follow (SM only) I know SHINee also have a lot of layering. Aespa also have some layering to do too. Maybe because those groups don't have that many members so they create more depth to their songs by adding layering.

aespa and NMIXX for example are also showing the process of the Vocal Layering, so Red Velvet is not the only Group who shows it. Kiss of Life as well (their Recording Behind of Bad News is so good btw)
with HiFi Headphones you can definitly hear the different Layers if you Listen to it carefully
