- This is a new tune by fiddle/whistle player Colin Farrell, and as such it's not one that pops up at sessions very often but it's a great one and I'm glad there were a few requests for it!

Nice one
Favorite tune. Love the way you play it. Thanks!
Thanks for posting this! I can see this becoming a session tune as more people learn it :)
I’ve been up to Rothberry folk festival and it’s being played their 👍🏻
One of my favourites for some time now. Thanks!
Love it! A very happy bouncy tune. I wish I could do all the ornaments you put into it.
That’s a good one.
Love this tune. Learned it from my teacher last month, but a bit different in the B-Part. :) Need to play both versions an look which one is "better". :)
Love to hear this on the A whistle!
Nice tune and great chanel!
fab
Thanks very much for your lessons! Learning a lot from them... I wonder if you know a tune called "Branohm" and if you could break it down for us...
Nice tune! Is this for a D-whistle?
Yep, though you could play it on any whistle, it'll just change the key of course.
What a great tune! Your comment on it not popping up much in sessions brings up a point I think is worth addressing. This is a current tune by a known and living composer. Is it generally and/or legally acceptable to play such tunes in a session if they are not recorded or paid? A question of copy right, public domain and such thorny concerns.
Ooo that's a good question and I'm really not sure. As I understand it, the venue is responsible for procuring the necessary ASCAP/BMI licenses which handle any royalties/copyrights, but I'm a little out of my depth here.
@@whistletutor You mentioned you have played with Colin. If you have a way to contact him it would be interesting to have his response.
