"You should give him a second chance." The thing is, OP DID after the brother tried to kiss the fiancé and look what happened, the brother actually was SA'ing her. If OP and fiancé forgave the brother and gave him a THIRD chance, he would've been sneakier and bolder. I fully believe he would've found a way to fully harm the fiancé.
There’s a reason sex offenders don’t last long in jail, even inmates know you can’t fix those types of people they always offend again
you really shouldnt give people second chances, especially of these kinds of actions.
Also, many inmates have children and know their own kids are more vulnerable because they are incarcerated and can't keep an eye out for them. Peodos don't do wekk in prison because of that.
oh absolutely
Not to mention that the mother, who is telling him to give him another chance, has clearly given him many chances herself. She was just in denial and wanted to pretend it didn't happen.
So the parents lost all children

As a woman, how can a mother prioritize her son after committing the most heinous act a man can commit on a woman? I understand loving him unconditionally and forgiving him, but basically sliding what he did under the rug and demanding OP and his fiance, the fucking victim, to forgive him? Are you fucking kidding me?
Just finished watching this and I forgot it turned out he was a serial assaulter. Shame on the mother and father
100% because he gave her her first grandchild. Especially being in an immigrant community. As soon as I read that, I said “ohhhh, now I understand.” There are so many stories on Reddit about mothers in particular throwing their children away because they won’t/can’t give them grandbabies.
Women lie
I'll never get that, either. I made it clear to my kids that if they ever committed certain acts, they better hope the police get to them before I do.
My uncle SA'd an 8 year old boy and I could never understand why my grandmother was more concerned about her son being on the registry and never about what the kids life has been like since then.
@@N..P..
Good on you for teaching your kids about accountability and consequences. Those are traits that too many parents seem to not care about these days...
@@N..P..you sound like my mom. If me or my brother did anything like that we would be begging the cops to arrest us if only to have some metal bars between us and our mom
Parents definitely knew and helped cover for the brother
I suspect that the brother had been escalating for a lot longer than what they found out in the investigation. The Birth Giver was a little too quick to jump to the pervert's defense and try to rug sweep.
@DeeBraynt2010 He felt safe enough to do it at a PARTY and on his bro FIANCÉE no less. Unless you're THAT delulu, he knew his parents would cover/protect him. I've half a mind to wonder if one of them was a lookout during given his past history 🤔 they knew what's he capable of and kept their eyes on him, but wouldn't stop him, so instead chose to be near enough to mitigate the situation and throw doubt on the woman's claim.
Yes, my thoughts exactly if he felt comfortable enough to try that with his brothers fiancé, surrounded by family, then I can almost guarantee you he had done it to other women before, and according to the OP they lived in a very insulated community, which leads me to believe that the parents would’ve had some ideals of what was happening
His parents are total enablers and despite him being accused of sexual assault multiple times still support him. The worst case of golden child syndrome I've ever heard of. the only other case that I found near as bad was of parents covering up the youngest sons GF getting with his older brother and ghosting the younger one the day he was going to propose to her. Then for 5 years covered up the former GF marrying the older brother. The parents even went to wedding. The younger brother totally lost his shiat for 5 years wondering what happened. The GF had cheated on the younger brother for 2 years with the older brother before ghosting him and the parents knew about that too. Wasted 7 years of his life because of that.
Dad's reaction to hearing what his son was doing says it all, he clearly knew his son had a history with SA and his first thought was probably "dammit" and wondering why that bastard would pick someone so close to the family. It would be easier to sweep it under the rug if it was a stranger or just someone, they could cut contact with, but someone that close to the family? They can't do that without having others ask questions.
I feel bad for OP's niece because that girl won't have a dad but it's for her own good
why would said neice want a dad whos a rapist, anyway?
@@matthewbarabas3052what??
It's in her best interest that he's not around. She's safer that way.
@Notoriouscj1 if he can SA a fiance trust me he's not gonna see much issue with harming his OWN child
@@toriladybird511can verify, unfortunately
Op is the hero of his own story ... 😂😂😂.....
Aren’t we all…
@@Yaksonatornah some people are the villian instead
@@Kris-wo4pjI think he meant that some OPs who are in the wrong believe they’re in the right, no matter what
I mean, if nobody else steps up then...
Wow the family are POS, the older brother of OP is disgusting, and those that supported him are nasty too. Good you cut contact with them, keep positive people around you OP
So these parents deciding to cover for their oldest and pushing for their other children and daughter in law to "forgive and forget" they lose all of their children instead of supporting their youngest ones and would have lost the one. Totally logical these parents are, just wanting to keep pretending that their eldest wasn't a monster.
It's not about logic or how the calculus of how many kids they want to keep. They deluded themselves into thinking he wasn't doing anything unforgivably evil. They didn't want to think a son they raised was capable of that. Or worse, they don't think SA is "that bad" and believe that he is able to bounce back from hurting people like this. They didn't do the math of how many kids they would still have, they just wanted nothing to change.
Women lie
@@ashencloak667I’d be lucky if all that would happen is getting disowned if I even attempted that
Should have told mom, dad and the family telling him to forgive the brother, if bro had did what he did to OP’s girlfriend to a child, if he had taken/cornered a child into that bedroom and tried to SA the child would they be all forgive him or would they permanently exile the brother.
They would have done exactly the same snd made the girl feel it was her fault.
It's amazing the mental gymnastics family can do to protect the predators BUT blame the victims.
parents should be grateful that OP didn't end his brother outright and only sent him to the hospital. you don't assault someone and expect others to get over it in a few months
OP's only mistake was not telling his family about the first incident.
That wouldn’t have changed anything.
It's not easy facing ur attacker bc even when ur in court (a safe place... usually 😂) u still feel like u did the moment u were assaulted & it takes yrs to even get to the point where u can think back w/out panicking... it's 1 of the things they took from us, security!!
So the ex-brother is a predator? **Shudders**
If op had been a little more skeptical and kept his girlfriend away from the brother maybe the story would have had a different ending. Maybe. But it honestly sounds like op's brother was determined to do something awful to op's girlfriend and just needed the opportunity. What a creep. Imagine thinking it takes four years to forgive attempted r*pe. I'm glad op didn't give into "family first no matter what or how ugly the circumstances".
"He moved to the other side of the country, changed his name and went into therapy" right. So basically a crminal running away from the consequences and throwing up a smokescreen to seem like he's actually doing his best to reform instead of taking advantage of a clean slate. I'm glad op never let this slide. It was obvious that this wasn't the first time op's brother pulled this kind of stunt.
OP might have thought 1st time he was drunk as he didn't know his brother is a predatory monster
So all of this is pretty bad but what third world hell hole would punish a man for saving his girlfriend from a rapist? Edit to clarify, he says several times they didn’t involve the courts because it was possible for OP to also face punishment for “excessive self defense “
You'd be surprised how easy it is to get arrested as a victim defending yourself in the US.
@@southernflight5078 If the GF is white, no way in hell would OP get prosecuted. Attacking a white person as a foreigner is a one-way ticket to prison.
his family is mighty delusional jesus 😅 how embarrassing
I'm not surprised that the second the parasite saw the cops he tried to run then fight the cops. He knew why they were there. Nor am I surprised that he lied to everyone at where he lived to save his butt and build hisife on lies. At least the parents testified against him and he's now jail. Unfortunately some people are just so beyond disgusting and vile. Typical that he tried to get back at op by trying to get op in jail for beating him years ago. Bet he was pissed when the judge dismissed it. He did that because he knew it was op that exposed his true vile nature to everyone and got him, finally, arrested.
His mother is in denial. Her mindset is that he was drunk and misread the signs. No mother wants to believe that their beloved son is a r@#ist. Especially if he's done it before, his mother would probably go to jail to protect her son.
Can confirm the sliperyness of banana peals when i was a kid, i left one on the floor, and my little brother stopped on it while running and went through the wall.
First story and is the only story 😂. Now I want to play minecraft. Your builds are so pretty 😢
I've been playing Minecraft while listening to these. I listen to reddit stories and play games a lot.
@@K.Esmerelda-zy7cfis Minecraft fun? I never really understood it
@@dest5218 It's not really about that. Minecraft is more about scratching the itch to hoard and build with a touch of survival. I'm a loot hoarder so I enjoy getting to feel a sense of accomplishment from obtaining as much resources as possible and having it be a good thing. There is also a sense of accomplishment from building. I've made some really beautiful structures. My favorite being a two story brick house with a bedroom on top. It had a huge 5 story pagoda on one side with a spiral staircase that ran from the ground floor up to the top and a little glassed in sleeper hidden in the roof. There was also a massive two story greenhouse on the other side of the house made from red brick and light blue glass that had a fountain on the roof that actually fed into waterfalls that ran down the interior walls down into streams on each floor. It had shelves filled with clay planters. It was on a small mountain nestled in the lower part of a mountain range and had a glassed in dining area below the ground floor that lead into the underground storage area which had a bathhouse and a huge furnace to heat the building. There was a glassed in water elevator that went from the basement straight up to the bedroom and an underground tunnel that went under the green house that connected to the horse stable near the farm.
I had to dig up all the clay from river beds and fire it to make the bricks, grow all the trees and cut them down for the wood accents, floors and ceilings and the furniture and had to dig up all the sand and gather flowers using bone meal from fishing to make the colored glass. All while making sure I didn't starve.
So I wouldn't say it's so much about fun as it is about feeling accomplishment for your effort and time. Minecraft is pretty therapeutic. Me and my GF play it together a lot. You can also play in creative mode like in most of these videos where you can just use anything you want without having to gather the resources yourself and you can fly. I like playing survival.
@@K.Esmerelda-zy7cf thanks I think I get it now, much appreciated 👍🏽
@@dest5218 You're welcome. Hope you enjoy it if you decide to try it out.
if OP has to specify that it isnt racist, its racist.
What???
Exactly. They are probably black or Arab immigrants, so they don't see what they do as racist if against white or asians
Why are so many people in the comments talking s**t about the op and defending the brother?
Whoever the lawyer was that said "Brother would drag OP down with him" is full of shit. There is no way in hell OP would get anything because he did not assault a man, he defended his girlfriend from a monster.
lol the brother could try to sue for defamation, but it isn’t defamation if it’s true
I'm gonna be honest. Why do people never nip things in the bud before the meltdown. Dude tell everyone they weren't the ones who beat their brother, tell them their significant other wasn't almost assaulted.
People like OP's family don't believe in anything being wrong until it happens to them. Blind fools who'll continue to make excuses until they are the ones suffering.
@@southernflight5078they don't want to think OP's ex brother IS A MONSTER

For story 01, bro I literally spat after hearing the title. Op's family is insane as fuck😮
“This sounds racist…” because it is racist!
One thing I have learn3d from all these stories is that if you marry your college sweetheart, she's gonna cheat with her boss.
What?
@candicemonique5927 Quite a few (the majority, in fact) of these stories are " rage bait " writing exercises. I believe this one to be as well. In all the cheating stories where OP meets their spouse in college. Notice that the spouse almost always sleeps with their boss.
I live in Sacramento I'm 67 years old but years ago I used to play pool in a tournaments around here in the league I was not very popular because I didn't do drugs and I didn't cheat kind of funny you know how they want to get rid of people who don't do drugs anyway one of the teams had a captain on it and this guy everybody thought he was the nicest guy in the world and he forced me to shake hands with the president of the league when I beat him twice and he refused to acknowledge it so when I shook his hand I realized that I was forced to do it by this guy that I really thought was a nice guy well about a month later we found out that this guy was what they called the roaming rapist his name was Derek Sanders he was going around raping a whole bunch of women that I can say this on here because he's already been convicted of it so it's not slander of any kind but I found it funny that they got rid of me because I'm not popular and I don't do drugs but this guy is a rapist and they thought he was the nicest guy around that just shows you how messed up people are in the head
I agree this is a mess up story, but somehow I don't like the OP, like he sees himself as some kind of hero and is all about justice but the guy couldn't accept the consequences of beating up someone and that was the excuse to no sue the brother in the first place. Dude wasn't looking for justice, he was looking for vengeance.
It Seems fake, but its a good story
how so?
Sorry but I will never defend acts of violence and I am glad OP was disowned too
You are a weakling
So you believe an act of violence worse than sexual assault which by the way is an act of violence? What an ahole. 😡
Op in 1 was a pos he chose a girl over his brother.
Op in 1 was a great bf who defended her girlfriend from his serial grapist brother* there fixed it
So you'd defend a rapist got it thanks for the self report
Is this the brother?
You are an ahole, if you really mean that.
His brother is a monster!! Wtf is wrong with you?
"What were the family thinking when defending someone doing something that can give you ptsd?"
Oh I dunno, families defend women who commit infidelity and paternity fraud on the regular...
What does paternity fraud and infidelity have to do with a story of a brother assaulting his brothers fiancee?
@@disregard425 The point is that families tend to defend people who do other vile shit as well
