Vanmoof S3 Battery problem. Error. Solution to the problem.

This repair shows how to restore a battery after a long period of inactivity or deep discharge of battery cells. Also this battery had a battery error, but after fully charging it disappeared, perhaps this required a cell balance. The method works on all Vanmoof bicycle models.

You can't, try to see if VanMoof can help by contacting them.

@@TimTheBeastNL I did, they won't without a receipt. I work for a recycling center in Seattle that had 20 Van Moof S3's dropped off, most likely old stock and maybe a causualty of the bankruptcy. Anyway, I cannot produce a receipt as they were actually dropped off by the VanMoof store. Oh well, hate to toss it, such a beautiful bike.

It’s too bad that the method with a receipt and Vanmoof company didn’t work. Later I will publish a video on how to convert such bicycles to a different controller without code.

Thanks for comment! For this you don’t need a special equipment. You need only charger up to 4.2-5volt, so u can charge one by one, cheap chinese charger 42 volts and multimeter to measure voltage.
