Cast and crew alike generously gave of their time and creative energy to make a heartfelt offering during these difficult times.
Featuring dancers and community members from the New Govardhan Farm in New South Wales, Australia with lead choreography by Syamalika Hedemark.
The call and response chant is a traditional devotional song of praise that glorifies the Divine names ‘Govinda’ (The One who attracts the heart, mind and senses), ‘Gopala’ (One who offers supreme protection and love), ‘Radha Raman’ (the Beloved) and ‘Hari’ (One who takes away).

I am a Bangladeshi 26 year old unemployed youth. Whenever depression surrounds me, when nothing feels good, when life seems completely meaningless, I find the last destination or refuge in this holy Mahamantra. Come back to your beautiful Catholic faith. The Catholic Church is the one True Church which can be proved by the historical witness for the fulfillment of the prophecy of Daniel in the Old Testament book of Daniel, written hundreds of years before the birth of Christ. Tears rolling down as l listen to this song and watch all the colours and lush greenery where the devotees are dancing. Tears of sadness as I am in a big city where all feels so cold, and tears of longing for the Divine too. I know deep down that the Divine is everywhere, even if I don't always feel it. This song helps me to feel that Divinity a bit more.

I lost my maternal aunty yesterday. She was like a mother to me. She raised me with so much love, care and affection unconditionally. It is so sad I was not there when she breathed her last and during her last ritual. There are few people in life who are genuine and she was one for me. Always my cheerleader in good or bad. Who knew my likes and dislikes, who raised me as her daughter.
