Same here, buddy. I'm now 36, and have such a strong, deeply emotional attachment to the game, and Arthur's journey. My Dad and I bonded over the music of the game. So much so, I requested a UK radio station to play the 'House Building Song' when he underwent a cancer op and subsequent treatment a couple of years back. My Grandad passed away just after Christmas, and again, the music of this game makes me think of him, his foibles and his fight against dementia. I'll forever cherish this wonderful game.

People say the dishonorable ending makes more sense but it really doesn't. The fight between the two made the TB stronger and progressed way faster and it killed Arthur. Micah was the cause of why the TB killed him way faster than sooner. LORD H E A D A S S I Know Son. I know.
Best character in the game
THIS IS WHERE THE REAL MEN CRY
R.I.P Arthur Morgan ❤
I agree
My dad had to do this bit I gave up fr
I am not ashamed to say, that as a man, I cried at Arthur's ending!
Even women
True
Just finished the game for the very first time last night. 34 year old man bawling my eyes out here
This mission is the most heartbreaking in video game history, from the moment aurthur's horse died then giving his hat to john to him dying recognizing his winning despite his past, rdd2 a magnificent masterpiece indeed
"You're my brother"
"I know."
Anonymous that got me man.
Arthur going back to his horse to say “Thank You” I tore up
@@uncle8536 Dude seriously, when we went back and just stared at his horse and put a hand on him. I got chills. That was so awesome! I had the same horse the entire game so it felt real.
it's amazing that 1 simple horseriding cutscene has the ability to reduce me to tears
It's the music
Yeah
it totally is @@lewisjohnston7077
@@lewisjohnston7077for sure so fucking perfect
@@lewisjohnston7077That, and the realization that it's Arthur's last ride.
That mission....that day ....i lost my boy Juan ....RIP ma boah .... never will i ever have a stallion like you ...
This isn't a game, it's art.
It'll take at least another 20 years til we get another game like this one
Not just art..masterpiece
I hope rockstar comes back strong again with rdr3 they have got 2 solid games in the past for the red dead redemption franchise I hope they don’t screw rdr3 if it ever gets announced
Why can’t it be both?
Rdr3 should be about Dutch as the protagonist, with gameplay utilizing Arther and other camp members to strategize Dutch's goals
I killed Micah while i was wearing Arthurs hat.
Same
Fn hell same!
If u didnt wear arthurs throughout the entire game u might as well uninstall
Fuck Micah, dudes the king Joffery of video games.
Honestly I don't think I've every truly disliked a character in a game like I did Micah
@@bigrick3267 thats a sign rockstar did a great job with him
Rockstar really are the best at what they do. I truly believe no gaming experience will ever top red dead redemption 2.
fr!
"BRO, IT'S JUST A GAME" they said...
"IT CAN'T HURT YOU" they said...
It still hurt my heart
But l' just human l have a heart
The beautiful and sad part about this scene is he knows he's going to die but he rides towards his death willingly
metal
@@Skinner0527 A good reference to the falsity of friendship and brotherhood that does not exist today...
@@Skinner0527 Actually, he didn't knew John was still alive at this point. He's just going to confront them, and tell everyone Micah is the rat.
@@nikhildixit5551 no spoilers plz
@@aetherian31 Why would you even look at this video if you haven't played it?
And this ladies and gentlemen, is why the gaming industry is miles better than hollywood
Damn straight
A movie is too short to get feelings for the protagonists
@@amelgicic7588 Also being able to play as the character helps you identify with them more.
Of course
I agree 100 percent
America needs more Arthur Morgans to step up and save this country
I didn't even play the game, but omg this is incredibly powerful. The line "There is a good man within you...But he is wrestling with a giant" should literally go down as a quote. That hits so hard.
I can’t be the only one who thought the most emotional part of this is when he pulled out his original hat
Yea I thought that. And I always made John wear it too.
It's legendary
PEA SZN you ain’t the only one I died when that happened
Pesterated yea I always played with the original too
I didn't wear it for a looooong time. When I saw it come out of the satchel, I was done...
Arthur is a character that single handedly inspired me to be a better person. I love him so much.
He embodies selflessness and bravery. I'm glad you are able to see that.. To be strong, is to be weak but to see yourself as you truly are..
Me too😢❤
Same here brother
so how's that going, amogsus?
Same man. Same. I agree.
