My grandmother was actually born on Oaken Brow in 1929. My great-grandparents were share croppers at the time. They later built a house on property they purchased and farmed up the road a little in Jersey, VA.
Near Gaymont, about 8 miles towards Fredericksburg is Moss Neck Manor. Stonewall Jacksons winter quarters following the battle of Fredericksburg. Surprised it wasn't mentioned.
Excellent video, love the drone footage and the use of the map to give us an idea of where this is located to other nearby plantations. I wondered if those random columns belonged to a “whimsy” set up in the garden at one time, similar to what they have at James Madison’s Montpelier?

Great historic house. It appears the grounds need a little TLC to bring it up to good standing.
