In your video presentation of the Moza Genie app (as in those of many others), the interface I downloaded yesterday is completely different than what you have presented with much less possibilities and anti user-friendly ! Did Moza change this app completely to a completely useless one in the meantime ? Or did I not download tthe right one ? I am on iOS with a iPhone 11S and downloaded it from the appstore. Dear Zdenka, plus lenses do not need any counterweight, just slightly pushing the phone to a slightly side.
The rack in the "strange" place can also be a second plaster lever and use the original grip for example. Turning to a horizontal position, not just vertically.
Not to mention that because it is not aligned with the grip, gimbal is much more stable - as if the grip extension is to be extended because it is physics ...

Loving these videos Zdenka, still not decided which to buy! Re. balancing the weight with lenses. I got to thinking that a self adhesive tap on the 'counter balance' side of the Moza could be used, with another self adhesive tab stuck to whatever (tiny plastic test tube with fishing weights, or something like nuts/bolts/screws?). Perhaps that would work?

I wish I could answer your question, but I unfortunately don’t know the answer. I am hearing from many peoples that Samsung have compatibility issues with most gimbals. I would have to really test it to be able to answer that question.

Nice video. I always like your videos. I was trying to decide whether to go for such a model. On a plus you didn't really criticise it, but OTOH you didn't say go out and buy it! How far away is the next DJI gimbal? MOZA MINI MX not available directly in the UK ATM. Have you tried out the inclusive video editing software yet?
To be honest I’m unsure about this one. I am thrilled with the app and the features but the tripod is bothering me. If the tripod was at the bottom just like normally it will be a total winner. Yes I tried the editing up and it’s fantastic. 🎬😊📸🎥

I like the gesture controls. Though it looks awkward I like how you can see the controls better while using the tripod. It seems idk convenient to have the controls sit that way when using.
Triple view!!! Wow! Live stream option is what everyone wants now. It’s like everything is made for iPhone and lacks with Android. I have both devices but prefer my Android to create. I like the built in editor with multiple transitions. That’s definitely a plus. I have large hands also so that would be an inconvenience. I use a Cobra mono pod so mounting may be an issues.. hmmm. I also feel like at this point a payload of 350g should be minimal for every gimbal coming out from this point forward. Devices are getting bigger not smaller. They should be able to support a lens.

Zdenka Darula thank you for that information. My fav gimbals right now are DJI Pocket, isteadyx, atom and G6 max. I fine myself using the Pocket mostly for family videos. I want to try the DJI mobile 3 I think it is you use. Wish I would have purchased it first. I am going to hold out buying anymore until DJI comes out with something new.

Great review! Can you film using three lenses at on time on Android? I have Samsung S10 (Exynos model) and I can't find this mode in the settings. I can't even record using telephoto as Moza Genie app doesn't recognise it. Help please :/

I consider smooth app and in app controls. Had a bad experience with Moza Mini S as it crashed in both software and hardware while I started trying to film as part of initial testing.
I was considering Osmo mobile until I watched this video review of Moza mini MX. Awaiting thoughts.

This is tough call. Try downloading the Moza genie app and see how it works. It works even without the gimbal. 😊📸🎥🎬
Very nice video and plenty of good and useful information. Just 1 thing though. You've mentioned that all the controls and buttons can only be operated using the Moza app. Since the Genie app doesn't offer all the Samsung's features, is there a way to just connect to Samsung phone to the gimbal and just use start stop and panning modes? If not, which of your other 6 gimbals allow to be used with Samsung's native camera features?

I find that having the tripod attached to the gimbal, with the feet closed, provides great balance and control. I can hold both handles while making a shot. I have smaller hands than you so no issue accessing the trigger button

Hi, me again! Quick question. The Moza Mini P supports 900g but there's no review on your page about it! Do you have any recommendations for gimbals that can support a lot of weight?
It is a new gimbal and I’m just waiting for Moza if they will send it to me for a review. I requested it few times as I think it is going to be great one. Can be used with mirrorless, smartphone and action camera. 📸🎬🎥😊
I picked one up for the live stream feature, but I could not get the live streaming to work. I have a Note9 and a Blu G9 pro. Another minus for my use is that the auto tracking is designed to not function in vertical camera position. Since those two features are the reason I bought it, I plan on sending it back. Another nice feature would be a brightness and contrast level. I do not plan on doing any post production with my project. I also have the Osmo Mobile 3 and the Vlog Pocket. So far all of these gimbals have done a great job smoothing out the shakes, but the other features are usually limited in unpredictable ways. It would be great if the native software packages could somehow utilize the cameras' internal image stabilization as well.

Just found your channel. I love your accent and your style of video. I just purchased this about a week ago. I purchased the Moza Mini S about a month ago. Yea, I like Moza stuff except that the app sucks on Android. No 24fps filming so I don't even use it.

My Moza Mini MX is arriving Monday, however the way the phone mounts, I'm unsure of which counter balance is compatible? Which budget friendly counterbalance should I use? Thank you for the review! Also, I am using a Galaxy S9+ with a wide angle lens. My phone doesn't have the wide angle capability, so I had to purchase one.

Hey , plz can you suggest me between moza mini mx and dji osmo 3 or dji om4 ?
DJI is the same better for Apple. Moza is better for android
12:42 I'm android user with Mi 9, so with stock native camera I "can't" use the basic gimbal feature? pressing front button or trigger like pan/tilt/follow/etc won't work without Moza Genie app?
