    Do not go with virgin media wifi twice this month the wifi has been slow can’t watch tv i am going to sue virgin media for not getting the wifi speeds we are getting and were paying a fortune just get the speeds we need this is absolute joke and go with ee instead of

    Why stumble when you can throw out your hub five broadband box out the window because at Virgin Media, we really know how to grind you’re gears by giving you bad service. do not fall for the dirty tactics. It is one of the worst broadband providers I’ve ever been with and they should be shut down permanently.

    How can a phone call with VM go from phoning up to agree a price discussed with an advisor a few days before..... to Being spoke to and spoke over in a deeming way . Then deciding you are left with no choice but to cancel your contract. This conversation was with two different advisors who could not fully understand the English language. One of the advisors used the tactic of putting you on hold for 20 min to see if you ended the the call . Is this the company VM has become

    Do not upgrade to 360 virgin box. Stick to v6 box. 10 times better

    The only thing that has any relevance here is the goat because a goat could run the company better 😉👍.
    Internet is shit! Customer service is shit. Their staff scam and lie to you, their hubs can't handle the customers they have never mind new one's and this why for years they have promised upto a certain speed rather than promise a minimum! You could pay for up to 200mbps but you'll be lucky if you get 6mbps.
    I was a customer for 5 years and for 5 years I had to call nearly everyday and they didn't give a shit until I said bye! Been a customer with BT for nearly 10 years now and I've had to call up maybe 3 times with an issue in that time. Avoid virgin media like the plague!!

      I discovered that Virgin Media now have 3 tiers of cancellation line, each with higher discounts, in order to reach the next tier you must INSIST on cancelling your service.
      - Tier 1 will offer you about 5-10% discount
      Seems to be overseas staff, and I might have been unlucky but my call was with a very hardball, take it or leave it, negotiation style for what was actually a really bad offer. This felt quite rude over the phone.
      But I insisted on cancelling after being shown that my money was less valuable than new customers' money.
      - Tier 2 will offer you about 10-20% discount (local helpful staff)
      Actually quite nice people who genuinely wanted to help, but I was still angry with the tier 1 rep so I insisted on leaving.
      - Tier 3 will offer you about 30-40% discount (local helpful staff)
      Access to tier 3 is only possible when you actually cancel, they will call you days, maybe weeks later to make an offer to try and keep you.
      I felt quite angry when I discovered this was how Virgin treat loyal customers so I switched to BT after 14 years. Turns out BT have a "so you're angry with Virgin 1600mbs package")
      PS: Do NOT throw away your tracking receipt when you return your kit. They seem to either accidently or on purpose "lose it" unless you can prove it was returned.
      Hope this helps some people.

      @Think666_ hey, yeah they tried to keep me but in my mind they didn't care when my son who has special needs was screaming in the background because their broadband is crap so offering me solutions after I cancelled only infuriated me more.
      I've been with BT 6 years now and I've rarely had to call them due to an issue unlike Virgin who I had to call nearly everyday. BT do make mistakes but in my experience they go out their way to try and make up for their mistakes.

    Great company, tried ripping off my mum who has been with them 22 years to the tune of £240 a year. Well 22 year customer lost to Sky now.

    Try online gaming with VM, almost impossible, speedtest comes back super speeds (300 down and 35 up) with a ping of around 8, great!, awesome,...yeah, now try online gaming,..FAIL!.
