“Not that stuffy, upper crust British hotel”. Wow you must be watching too many Hollywood movies. That description went out around 25 years ago. However I agree that for what they offer the NoMad is good value compared to most high end London hotels which are usually over priced.

Because she wanted to be in an atmosphere that was relaxing, down to earth, laid back, not too stuffy. Right or wrong impression, some London hotel vibes are too formal and stiff, too museum like. ( just an opinion)
