- I decided to try my luck again at Kings River. I started at Winton Park and worked my way quickly up to Pineflat Dam. I spoke with a few anglers and they didn't even get a bite all day. After no success with the jerkbait and 2" swimbaits I decided to try my luck split shotting a small piece of powerbait and finally caught a Rainbow Trout.
Setup
Rod: Phenix Feather 7" Med
Reel: Daiwa Revros 1000
Line: P-Line 100% Fluorocarbon 4lb test
Weight: #2 split shot
Hook: size 14 red circle hook
Bait: Powerbait garlic scent

Nice to see some rainbows from time to time. Can never go wrong with a good trout bite
Yup hopefully next time itll be on a day they stock lol but it might be shoulder to shoulder kind of fishing which I hate.
That's the way I use to do it until bfs came out. Back in days it was micro fishing with a the smallest crank bait and killed everytime. Tight lines brotha.
Great video quality. Love the tips and commentary. Keep the videos coming!
Thank you and thanks for watching!
Wacky jig a pink trout worm....
"I don't think they're hungry"🤣😂. Yea. Keep telling yourself that..........
