- It's time for a brand new "Let's Play" on Farming Simulator 22. I'm on Court Farms this time!
This map is one of the best I've seen on any Farming Simulator game. The map has a lot of plots that are ideal for building your own farm. So, in this series, we will be working as a contractor with the end goal of building our own farm.

Scroft can you estimate how long until court farms comes out on consoles
@@annehannon2573 My guess is 1 month. Calmsden was released about 1 month after the PC. The PC version will have some small bugs. Oxy will update and fix these, ready for the final console version 👍
How about American falls, bucks county update. . Etc. The show of favoritism for some modders is getting too much.
Thx scroft because I do have a pc but it is not the best because it crash’s fs22 in like 20 minutes and I have a ps4 so it better to use the ps4

You nailed the reasons I like doing contracts over any other play on FS. You get to see the map. You get to work all the fields. You learn the map quickly, you know every shortcut, every gap in the treeline you can fit through. My playthroughs mature, I start out contracting and eventually build my empire. But I just enjoy the fast pace of having five AI guys on different contracts all at once, the strategy involved in moving vehicles around the map and carting between two or three harvesters...Just my thing I guess....

Hi Scroft. Just started watching this Let's Play. You are prolific, lol. Now, wages for workers. I don't bother using in game methods. I just pay 2.5K at the end of the month by working out a hourly rate based on that sum then just subtracting it from current money.
Inspired by your vid, I started loaning on Court Farms (which is a really amazing map, though as a German I need to take care about the traffic "on the wrong side" ) ;)
Never the Less I have only baling contracts available. Maybe because I started in March...
One of the first things I found was a barn door that stretches as it opens and shrinks when closing, quite subtle but could do with being sorted. really love the atmosphere on the farm.

Scroft if this is half as good as the farm hand you have a massive winner buddy. Must say though you can't go much bigger with tackle and those roads I wouldn't want to drive brand new combine along most of those roads . Love it buddy

For learning a map I find the North up(square)minimap much beter for getting your bearings as its laid out just like the real map but only a smaller section.
I see the map is released, what a way to test my newly installed(yesterday) fiber internet connection, I have been limited to less than 3Mb download till now, just over a minute to download the map and noticed a game update, 6 minutes for 14gb when before it took over a day. 😍
That's great, I need to try and get better speeds. Then I can do some livestreams
July 12, 2023 Mr. Scroft, since you don't normally do contracts, it's going to be fun watching you do them. There are places on this map I haven't seen before. Unfortunately, Giants doesn't want to fix the problem with Contracts. If you have the same crop for harvesting on different fields that are going to the same sell point, it splits the harvest between the contracts. In my opinion, that's not fair but Giants don't care. It should only complete the harvest you're actually working on, not any additional ones you may have. This map is a lot bigger than it looks on The Farm Hand series but I guess that's becuz you only stay in a small area and don't travel much to the other side of the map. The QuickBale and the QuickQuickBale (my preference) will bale straw even tho they have built in wrappers. They just won't wrap it. You didn't mention whether or not you could take out a loan? You could then get the baler of choice and pay it off really fast. Thank you for another AMAZING series. You are the BEST! P.S. Tell Mr. G and Ms. Beanie hello and give Winnie a treat. Take care.
I have to admit that I normally like seeing creators using multiple maps for multiple series, but after watching this first episode, I am really looking forward to seeing what you will be doing with this series. I am especially excited to see what you will be doing different than "George".

Great 1st episode that scroft. Really was interesting to see how you have all the map worked out for the farm hand series. Also watching that first field been harvested just had George’s voice in my head saying bloody hell scroft some bugger has nicked our crop out the field 😂

Love this series, because I get to see more of OXYS amazing map. Clearly, I am going to have to do more contracts. AutoDrive guy has an amazing route mapped out, but you likely know this by now
Love this! When it comes to console, I’ll be trying to something similar! Start off small as a farmer helper/contractor and built up to having my own plot and farm!! Keep up the good work!

Great video there is a mod call vehcail sink that matches the speed of the harvester. I'm enjoying court it's awesome. Also witch website do get your music from.

Word of warning on the Quickbale mod. It is one of those totally unrealistic mods. It is the same as the normal fast bale but with all the animations sped up a lot. I bought it thinking "cool, a more flexible version of the fast bale", but the wrapping animation takes less than a second to complete. I had to go into the mod and edit the animation times back to be the same as the normal fastbale to make it usable for me - it was too fast and too immersion breaking. By all means try it out, but just to let you know!

Loving the videos Scroft, how do you get all those scratches on your Tractors/Equipment Im using Easy Development to set the wear to max but all i get is little tiny scratches almost unnoticable
Here I am watching this instead of playing the map myself. I can't decide whether I want to do the big farm in new farmer mode type playthrough, or start on the little farm with all the junk and not much gear. Decisions, decisions. Also, tell me you haven't done contracts before, without telling me you haven't done contracts before. Has anyone ever figured out how the game decides what contract tries to complete first? I don't think I've ever had the field I've started first, complete first when doing multiple harvest contracts of the same fill and sell location.
Any chance of a mod list for this? Not played FS in quite some time and this got me interested again 😊

Personally would leave auto repair on also Personally would set to keep more in my experience the harvest yeild numbers are off a little with that little keep you might run into not finishing contract before harvest is done or enough crop to finish also running same crop to same sale can be a issue unless both fields are harvested before you deliver any product
I'm pretty sure that a Precision Farming problem. It was a problem in FS19 anyway.

Court Farms is out on the mod hub now! Scroft, How do I load download a route from the auto drive guy i've been on his CZcams page but I cannot see where I can download one of his roots at the moment I am playing on Saxthorpe Farms and he has made a route for that one but I don't know to download it, I don't know if you've had a look at Saxthorpe Farms yet but it is a brilliant map and I mean brilliant Any help on this would be gratefully helpful and appreciated. By the way there is a PC version of the map on the maker's site And I'll tell you right now it's to Bullet Bill's standards. And I have a sneaking suspicion it might be Bullet Bill.
By the way, you're playing the game exactly how I play the game. I start off with a patch of land and build up my equipment doing jobs for other farmers until I can strike out on my own.
In the description it says "Link to route route file is on the end screen adverts, look for the tractor icon."

Can you tell Oxy that the real mud mod doesn't work when you try and use the development mod when you put it down
Just wondering do you use an xbox controller to play on PC I've been trying but can't seem to get it to work
xbox controller does works on PC. I use it all the time. It does take time to learn all the needed setting and become proficient at driving. Since xbox is cordless it needs to be paired to your home wifi. You should be able to google how to do this.
Can you turn on hedge collisions?
Best map anyway but unless I'm mistaken (which I really hope I am) I'm really disappointed that all the cow paddocks are tiny, not far off just being the shed...please tell me I'm wrong and just being a noob.
