A Life Well Lived: Don Henthorn (October 1938 - March 2024)

It is with deep sadness that we inform you of the passing of our beloved founder, Don Henthorn. Don peacefully passed away at home on Thursday, March 28, at the age of 85, surrounded by his wife Ginger and loved ones.
Through his guidance, BendPak has grown from a small machine shop into the world’s leading manufacturer of car lifts and automotive shop equipment.
Don's visionary leadership and unwavering dedication have been the cornerstone of BendPak’s success. His passion, wisdom, and guidance have left an indelible mark on each of us and on the organization. While Don's physical presence may no longer be with us, his legacy lives on through the values and principles he instilled in our company. He was not only a leader but also a mentor, inspiring all of us to strive for excellence and never settle for anything less.
BendPak's succession plan is firmly in place, and our current leadership team will continue to steer the company forward. Operations will continue as usual, with a steadfast commitment to Don's vision and the continued success of BendPak.
