My interpretation is that of him saying he wants to shed his identity of Kai because of all of the attention he gets. I don’t know how well rover translates in French but wanderer would also fit.
There is an “Easter Egg” in the video. It is a name you see in the opening and on one of the identification cards. It is actually the name of a movie I suspect had a great impact on him and sparked his interest in dancing. Based on his age the year the movie was released, the timeline fits. The movie was released in 2000.

Alors, c'est vrai en fait qu'il est un genre d'espion dans la MV, d'où les changements de ID. Mais ça c'est l'aspect visuel.
Apres, il y a effectivement une signification plus profonde des paroles et du message vehiculé qui en gros donne " je suis ce que je suis et c'est ce qui me rend heureux et je me fou de ce que les autres pensent ".
En fait il a un peu expliqué tous ca dans des interviews et dans la video avec les autres membres du groupe EXO.
