All your lectures are excellent
So much of hardwork you put in making each lecture
Thank you so much for recognizing and appreciating my hard work ❤️
What a great explanation!!!! I really appreciate it.
You're very welcome!
Well explained.Thank you so much.
Welcome 🙂
Excellent
Er
Excellent 👌
Thank you
very good explanation
Thank you❤
Ur vedio really help me in my exam tysm
Glad to hear 🙂
As oxaloacetate is used for gluconeogenesis then how acetyl coA obtained by ketolysis will be oxidized through tca cycle? Please explain
Gluconeogenesis occurs in kidney and liver
While ketolysis occurs in brain and muscle
The location of two processes are different
very good method
Thank you
@@NJOYBiochemistry u welcome
U teach very well keep going..... God bless you
Yesssss very good explanation
8:56 , it should be: acetoacetate converted into beta hydroxybutyrate.
Ma'am plz check this mistake.
Conversation of acetoacetate to beta hydroxybutyrate occurs in ketogenesis and reverse occurs during ketolysis.. It is reversible reaction
You explain all in a single pitch, seems like a computarized voice, overall nice video btw
Noted thanks..shall try to improvise in future 🩷
Brain and liver can utilize Ketone Bodies/even in starvation brain can not utilize Ketone Bodies,it needs glucose - these two statements are contradictory. Will you please clarify?
Liver can not utilize ketone bodies. It lacks enzyme thiophorase required for ketone bodies utilization
@@NJOYBiochemistry sorry,I have written liver in place of muscle. My main question is whether brain can utilize Ketone Bodies exclusively in adverse conditions.
@@mithidas4295 in prolonged starvation conditions also brain requires some amount of glucose(for neurons) along with ketone bodies..Glucose obtained by gluconeogenesis and derived by muscle protein catabolism leading to wasting due to loss of muscle mass
