Holy smokes! Being more of an “old school” fan of Floyd and somewhat not quite keeping up with the newer songs post “On an Island, but “In Any Tongue” is glorious! I’ve listened to the song several times but never realized how kick a** that solo is. The solo fits well with the name of the track!
some of my favorites. It's very overlooked. In Any Tongue still gets some love but On An Island is very, veeery underrated...
So good! My three favorites ("Time", "Pigs", and "In Any Tongue - Live at Pompeii") all made it in the list. I'll be playing this on loop!

Prefer the Pompei version of Comfortably Numb but it's not much different. The ending is the same and I love it! Such a crescendo! Love it!

Listen I'm going to be honest here and I think I'm being honest for everyone that the only thing is good is the 16 minute Mark and the 20-minute Mark you know what I mean all that other stuff is meandering blah blah blah so who we really have to think is the ones that know which ones to put on the radio all that other stuff is meandering stuff.. I love David gilmour but come on all that other stuff is a bunch of third grade blah blah blah The producers or whoever puts it out for the radio they know what's the best...

My favourite solos are Comfortably Numb, Dogs, Time, Pigs, Echoes, On the turning away, Sorrow, Fat old sun. I don't like very much in any tongue and the other taken by the endless river.
On my opinion after The Wall there is no the same beautiful music as before. Especially the endless river and the final cut are the worst album. I don't like also the division bell and A momentary laps of reason.
As you already understood I really love all the album released during the 70. I also love, in a different way Syd music in The pipers at the gate of dawn and Sacerful of secrets. I consider a step below Ummagumma, More and Obscured by clouds.
