I had both issues with the cramshaft and fuel pump. If your car is turning off randomly . It can littlerly be both of the issues. Except when it's the cramshaft that's the problem. The anti brake lock turns on . Or some light on the dash I remember. Or I think it was traction control. Ether way nice vid

Step 1, pull the fuel pump relay and start the motor and run until it stalls. This relieves the fuel pressure off the line. It's definitely more than "a little bit that comes out". Also take a rag and wipe all that dirt off the top of the fuel pump so you don't get it down in the tank.

My issue is ill be driving and everything is Perfect fine. Then all of sudden I'll get instant power loss and as soon as it happened, everything is fine again. It has a hard time sometimes idling at a stop and will shut off if I keep idling. This gives me the impression it's a fuel pump. I haven't changed the fuel filter/screen at all and it's 127k miles. I thought maybe it's the air filter MAF sensor so I cleaned that up and all was well, or so I thought, then it died on the highway and started back up. I'm at oriellys right now buying a fuel pump and screen. I'll report back if this solves the issue. While I'm at it, I'm going to clean the other fuel tank thingy since my fuel reader doesn't read correctly. 3/4 is full.

Is there a proper alignment for the metal circle ring? If I fill my fuel tank up, gas makes it to the halfway point of the fuel tank and pours out the the top, and finds it's way to the ground. I initially put it all back together thinking the Oring should be replaced so it also came with the metal circle ring. Replaced all that and same problem. Unless there is a proper way to bolt the 6 or 7 screws down with that metal ring a certain way, I'm at a total loss. I cannot figure out why fuel is spilling when I fill up. I did everything even referring to the manual. I really don't want to take it to the dealer or a shop cause this is such an easy fix. I just don't get it. All the bolts are tight, metal ring is new, Oring is new, 🤷

Did I hear you correctly? New pump came with new parts but you are still re installing old parts in the new fuel pump assembly? A fuel pump is one of those items that you want to remove as little as possible. If you get new parts with the new pump assembly use them....Especially the filter/ strainer sock assembly. Some older vehicles where the filter was external along the frame rail that’s one thing but today enclosed filters might as well get good piece of mind in not having to remove again.

I have change the cluster and even on the new cluster Its acting up, yesterday it went below 3/4 almost to half a tank, but what is weird is that I drove 420 km and I was just under the 3/4 line and I'm sure that's impossible cuz I do think we can only drive 550 max on a full tank.
there's 2 infiniti garage here and both of them do not know how to fix it, One of them told me if theres a recall we will let you know lol.

The radiator fans would come on when the key is in the ON position. Car would crank, but wouldn’t start at all. VDC, Slip, and etc where all lit on the dash as well.
