- Hey, I'm Nick from Trainer Tips, and I'm officially uploading on my second channel today. This channel has been around for over 10 years and features some very old videos of my friends and I, which I've left up for you to browse - and to serve as a reminder of how far I've come. It's March 11, 2023 and CZcams decided to recommend fetus Nick to me. Thank you CZcams. And thank you Nick. You have made a difference in so many peoples' lives by being an authentic decent thoughtful human. A real mensch. Hope you are proud of the community you have developed through your Pokemon and travel videos.

I think you'll be pleasantly surprised by how many people genuinely watch you for you. I don't JUST watch for your tips and tricks (though I find those invaluable), I also watch to see life on the other side of the world (that being said, if you're ever in Cape Town, you've got a free bed), your editing is fantastic, and the fact that you're just such a calm person. If you had to shut your main channel down tomorrow, I'd be sad, but I'd definitely still watch. I think quite a few people would.

It's so cool to see the contrast of the old 144p videos and then having Nick upload this with his practiced editing, equipment, and speech skills after running Trainer Tips for so long. I'm sticking with this channel regardless of what he decides to do with it.
I'll like every video you post nick. You're more genuine than any other vloger out there. You take us viewers to no other place that any other viewer has taken us You've inspired me to travel to other places that no other person had been. And I appreciate your hard work that you've put in to your channel and I'll support any channel that you create bc I know that I'll get something genuine out of it. Thank you for all you've done nick
Go be butthurt somewhere else. Just because this person is a genuine fan and really enjoys the work, doesn't mean he/she is dicksucking. Dicksucking has an end goal, a purpose, but commenting in such a manner serves no purpose or provides no direct gain apart from making the content creator feel better and thus produce more/higher quiality work.

Nickolas Oyzon, Thank you so much for making a second channel, I absolutely loved your trainer tips channel, and felt like part of your life, like a friend and it was great, I watched every video, after I stoped playing I still watched for months, your videos are great, but I recently stopped watching cause I missed a week and never found time to catch up. So stoked for this channel. I guess being an introvert brings this internal conflict of wanting to hide versus wanting to be seen/heard. I'm glad you chose the latter and inspire others (and me) to do the same.

I've been looking forward to this channel for a while so congrats on the launch. I really enjoy your thoughts/opinions/morals and the general aesthetic of your videos. I mean, I'd honestly just watch weekly uploads of your drone footage over the type of music you always use in your Go videos. It's so therapeutic and inspiring.

I watched all of your van videos awhile ago...... they are pretty hilarious. I love the one where you illegally park in a park to save money.... but then you get a ticket 😂 it definitely sounded like an adventure
Those "directives" are really just a way of saying "it's ok to be an egomaniac" when you sift away the chaff. You were better off following your own compass.
nlcsmvp96 Whether you like it or not, those directives actually are very effective. There's a good chunk of famous, rich people who are also very introverted.
nlcsmvp96 Jesus did say to be the salt of the earth, of course that didn't mean "become famous", but the directives in the book have some truth to it. The thing that would have been nice to hear in the book is about meekness, such as the meek will inherit the earth.
I think a great example would be Truett Cathy. He didn't seek to be famous, but his humbleness and hard work, down to the most menial of tasks and love for what he did by serving others (and he gave away a lot of free food when he was dirt poor) helped to grow his business and catapulted him and his company to unexpected greatness. His story is on CZcams if you ever want to get an idea of who he was.
Nick has the right idea in the direction he is heading and I look forward to seeing where it takes him.

Je pense que beaucoup de français regarde ses vidéos, on ne s'exprime pas vraiment puisque ce n'est pas notre langue. Je suis ses vidéos depuis 1 an maintenant et j'apprécie tout ce qu'il fait, surtout en ce qui concerne les voyages: j'aimerai voyager mais je ne peux pas et Nick me permet de le faire depuis chez moi :)

I remember when I first saw one of your Pokémon GO videos and I loved everything about your work. So it was really easy to subscribe to that channel as I found there everything I enjoyed, I had the information, great quality videos, awesome editing, someone passionate about what he was doing and in time I grew to really like and admire the person behind it all, specially the little bits where you talked about and gave your opinions about stuff aside of Pokémon GO.
Honestly after some time I have to admit I grew tired of Pokémon GO, and thus I slowly stopped visiting Trainer Tips channel. Now this Channel if the perfect place to continue to follow and enjoy your work, your adventures, opinions, philosophy, and everything you are willing to share about your personal take on things and life in general.

I am excited for this channel. As a long time fan of Trainer Tips, I have enjoyed your filmmaking as much or more than the Pokemon content. You have a great eye and a unique point of view. I've often thought that you would make a great documentary filmmaker because you look through your camera at the world with affinity for people and places that makes me appreciate your experience and reevaluate mine. I feel connected through the human experience, and that is perhaps your gift, that for fifteen or so minutes a day, you, my friend in Long Beach, can show me the world through your eyes and remind me that I am connected, that we are all on the same journey in different spaces, but also that my limited view is not the only path. I hope this channel is a tremendous success and that you get everything you want from it. I know my life will be richer because of it.

Looking forward to seeing what you do on this new (old) channel. I've kinda fallen off the PokemonGO wagon so I hadn't been watching the other channel (despite so much going on lately).
Already because of the ideas you shared, I find myself forming/strengthening my own opinions. While the advice you got from Derek Sivers kind of resonates with me, I am wary of the idea of trying to be 'useful.' It seems to me that if we want to be useful, then it can often lead to us valuing ourselves based mostly (or solely) on our usefulness, so that when we don't feel useful, or when we share something with others and discover it's not useful to them, then we feel worthless. Of course, I don't think you do this, but it's just my reaction to Sivers advice.
Well, based on how much you've already gotten me to think about, I can't wait to see what comes next! Thanks for your videos!

I'm glad that you have another outlet for sharing your opinions and views. Having them mixed in with the Pokemon channel was no good. I believe you are a very interesting person and have value to share with the world, but it shouldn't be mashed in with the other topic. maybe you can show more here with what you are doing with Donte, personal goals as far as your career and your political and social views. You know Nick. I've been watching T.T. For a couple of months now and enjoy your videos. You have a very "Everyman" relatable quality about you that resonates with me, and clearly many others. I think I am going to take the plunge and start a 2nd channel that isn't about my singing gigs but is about me. I can talk about losing 95 lbs in the past year and my struggles with weight. I can open up about having bipolar depression disorder and maybe help others with how I'm learning to live my life with that. There are many other things to share with the world as well. Thank you. This was inspirational, at least to one individual.

I can understand how you feel about 'ego' being an obstacle. Without the focus of a subject, e.g. Pokemon GO, what are people viewing? Well, your distinct LACK of ego is one. There are many channels with hosts who have little offer the CZcams community other than a swimming pool that they set on fire. You have hands down demonstrated a superb talent for cinematography. Drone views, wilderness, cityscapes, editing...You have presented the world with your unique view. This is one of the reasons I keep coming back to the Trainer Tips channel, and why I have also subbed here.

Love the idea. I reach you because of Pokémon, and I mean I wacth every video you upload, even I'm not English Speaker. But when I saw this amazing idea I realize that there are a lot of ways to help people and the one that you are trying to acomplish is going to be very helpfull to others, including myself. So keep going with this, I'll try to stay tuned and follow your example in life. Also thanks for Pokémon, it is amazing the way that you present the game and the most important that you show that players can do it on a legal way. Here in my place Colombia, we're fighting against fakes and everything, not a easy task but we're trying to do our best. Finally we know that Niantic is never going to do something down here so we have our own Bogotá Fest :D, to help you on the 22. Go for the Grass Type and keep the amazing job on both channels. I've yet to see another person with the Oyzon surname, which tells me it's not that common of a surname (or at least among my circle of friends)

Ren_posted I don't know if it's the case with his family, but most Filipinos will give their kids the mom's maiden name as their middle name. So it could be his mom's maiden name.
He said in the video why he used Oyzon. He literally said the reason within the first 30 seconds of the video.
As said by the video, he used Oyzon in making this channel to make his Filipino herritage known, to put the Philippines on the map. He said Oyzon was NOT his real last name, but he said it IS his middle name.
