    I just bought a burb 2500 with this exact issue as a previous owner removed the auto ride and honestly since I don’t tow I probably won’t make it factory again but you never know. Thank you.

    hey man video was very helpful i watched a video where the guy added resistors to the white and blue wires in the rear that go to the compressor to trick the system but removing the fuse was much easier so thanks for that. i watched all of your videos bc i have a 2002 yukon denali xl and i just threw the 5100's on it. I have one question for you.., what size tires are you running ??? they look like a perfect fit not to crazy but still beefed up. i am in the process of getting tires and i was going to do 285/75/17 but i t looks like your tires may be slightly larger then that but i cant tell for sure let me know whenever you have a sec. good stuff bro.

    • @altonbrown2955
      @altonbrown2955  Před 2 lety +1

      No problem man, you know what, there is a relay on the wire harness next to the fuse panel that goes to the pump, maybe repeat the steps with that in play and see if that does the trick, because i took my relay off before hand and took the pump completely out of the truck, before discovering this method. I know you can cut a wire thats in the back next to the rear hvac system, but i never been big about cutting out or through just disconnecting

    Breaking News : 2000 GMC Yukon XL.... There was No Identification / Location of the " RTD " 30 amp Fuse, on My Fuse Cover's Chart....!! But I diagnosed it Down to Your " Approximate Target Location...and Saw a 30 amp Fuse there...So - I had the Negative Cable off the Battery already...I pulled out that Particular Fuse....by CHANCE... and put the Neg. Cable back on...Checked it.,
    And It Solved the Message about servicing the Airride System... I am Sooo Relieved...! NOW , ONTO ANOTHER MAJOR DRAMA :
    The ABS & BRAKE Light Comes on While I am Driving....whenever it Decides to Appear....and STAYS ON.... CZcams Says to Remove and Clean My Grounding Straps/ Cables.
    One is under the Drover Door area/ Chassis... The other is near the Firewall in the Engine Compartment...
    I have Put these Annoying Repairs off for Too Long...I must Tackle Them...!!
    The Other Big Problem ---- that won't Let Me Pass Smog/ to Register My Vehicle.... Is a Code showing/ & "yellow -Service Engine Soon..." Light on the Dash ALL The Time....coming frim The Fuel Tank Pressure Sensor...
    Evidently it Needs to Be Replaced... I don't Know if I should Cut into the Floorboard....to Access the Fuel Pump Target....or Drop the Tank/ Slightly...and Fight with it.... I can't Believe What I am Going Through...

      Man I feel you, I had a yukon before this one that had major problems underlining its performance I couldn't figure out til it broke and I stripped it, cant tell you how pissed I was. Did thay tell you why the light is one or code is popping up? As far as the brake lights, it will be the abs sensor cables on all the calibers , those things can rust or get rubbed and the protective coat will fall off. That's a good start as far as checking the grounds too , dont let them tell you it's the mechanism under the hood, if it's not leaking it ain't it.

    • @altonbrown2955
      @altonbrown2955  Před 2 lety

      If it is the fuel tank sensor , have you done a cleaner? I use this item called marvels mystery oil in a red bottle in both gas and crankcase to keep gunk buildup down but try that before pulling down the tank, you got it man, dont cut your floor lol and if so too check out your fuel filter too
