Put it this way when I pulled a Reefer with my mid-roof I was lucky to see 6mpg 5 mpg was the norm .... Now with a flatbed I can get 7/7.5 big ....

That’s right about fuel, hard to manipulate my logs with multiple fuel stops 😂
To me, they used the cancelled load i’m Florida as bait, it never really existed. The Gainesville extra stop was rigged also. Totally engineered. They baited you, hooked you, then added a stop at what they knew was a problem shipper. Win a few, lose a few. I have a feeling this trucking depression is going to last a long, long, time. To many trucks, less product, the perfect stop.
It is so oblivious that “they” are subsidizing lower gasoline prices with high diesel fuel prices. The difference between gas and diesel is far more than normal. Likely after the mid-term elections. all hell will break lose with run away fuel prices. We are going to really get screwed. When the Christmas rush kicks in, will “they” really stick it to truckers with higher diesel prices? “They” won’t miss a trick to screw us.
