On Ugochukwu I think Southampton will be a great loan for as long as he can give significant minutes. Whilst loans to struggling teams are not too good for attackers, as a DM/CM he could show his quality even if the team struggle. Think back to Lavia's year a Southampton.

@@EliteFootball441 Mudryk isn't going to be in the starting 11 too often. He's just not good enough and other players are simply better. That will get even worse in a year when Paez and Estevao join the team and Tyrique gets a year older. Unfortunately Mudryk also isn't very easy to sell either. Same problem we have with Sterling and Fofana and Lukaku. Same problem we're going to have with Felix and potentially Osimhen, if he ends up bellyflopping in the Prem the same way Lukaku did.

Sancho is on mad wages, so it's likely not happening. Even considering half the wage it would be £125k a week. If that costs us Osimhen then I don't want it. Same applies to Felix.
Focus on Osimhen, rest are luxury. Tell Atletico to find the money from elsewhere to pay for Gallagher, or restructure deal better without a player swap.

This is interesting. I guess if we get Sancho on loan this means Madueke is gone…for the right price. If we get Felix then hopefully this means we have a clear exit plan for Sterling and/or Mudryk.
Would be gutted if Madueke is sold. He is developing potentially elite levels to his game. He is now a mentality monster. Poch has now instilled that in him. Just by his interviews and practice sessions alone, you can see his ambition to reach a higher standard. Witnessing that global admiration Cole is getting from his signature celebration, endearment and his soundbite which kicked off everything. Noni wants that. He's not as limited as Mudryk or Sterling or even Sancho, he's hungrier. He's now impacting games with every action, whether it's running into the box, unsettling defenders or creating havoc. He's got the composure to take penalties, developing his cutting in ala Salah, takes free-kicks. He could potentially be our Saka or Olise. Players just need stability to settle, not this constant upheaval hence why players like Havertz, Guehi, Hall etc. eventually go onto blossom. We sell this lad and we'll regret it.

This type of news is SO familiar to me being I am an American who is also a Dallas Cowboys fan. I am hoping that however this all works out it doesn't end in disaster. There are SO MANY moving parts and Chelsea might end up being the club that gets left holding the bag simply because I believe they are attempting to be FAR TOO SLICK with their dealings.

I think the club did everything to give CHO a chance to stay here.
During the summer of the takeover, the club turned down good offers for CHO to instead allowed him to go to Bayer Leverkusen on loan despite only having 2 years left on his contract (when normally this wouldn't be allowed to happen without signing an extension). The hope being that he could return to form, get back into the team and sign an extension.
After really struggling at Leverkusen, he returned and understandably didn't want to go on loan again (loan team's are not invested in you).
The reason he went so cheaply to Nottingham Forest was that there was very little market for him based on his £120k/week wages (I think we have a sizeable sell-on clause too). And since Forest now own him, they were willing to give him enough game time to play himself back into form.
Interestingly, he only signed a 3 year contract which means by next summer he'll be into the final year of his deal. Don't be surprised if a number of top clubs are in his ear convincing him not to sign any extension with Forest (have one more strong season at Forest then we'll sign you in summer 2025).

I think we are creating a bad image for the club which can hurt us in the future. We are frustrating so many talents by our lack of plan for their future. If we don't get Felix, let's rely on Angelo as one of the wingers and probably sell Gallagher to Aston Villa. They wanted him for 57milipounds. First of, it was a big mistake bringing in too many French defenders and irtitatingly, some are not top notch. We already have Fofana. We can keep Disasi for RB and RCB and sell Badiashile instead because he only plays LCB yet, he's not FT notch. Next year Anselmino will come. Chukwuemeka should go on loan to sharpen up for the future else he'll get rusty. Casadei should be learning from Palmer. He's one for the future as attacking midfielder that can shoot from the Centre like DeBruyne. All our young players that we are selling should have sell-on clause that we can re-sign or earn from sale. Felix is not a need. At the moment, we need goalscorers. That will take us to top 4. Osimhen is a must.
