I am the one who always just watches videos and does not comment. However this video and Vladimir’s service definitely deserve the superb feedback.

Vladimir is the man. I just finished installing it on my 2017 340i. Everything on his end was perfect. All of the issues I ran into were on my end. First I had a hard time downloading the “Feature Installer” application. I discovered that was because Windows Defender was blocking it. Once I granted the proper permissions it downloaded no problem. Next issue I had was that there was a checkbox on my headunit saying to use wifi antenna that i had to search for. This was probably because I just installed the wifi antenna an hour prior and hadn’t even run the car yet. Last issue I ran into was that the CarPlay option was not showing up in the menu but like Vladimir shows in his videos, I reset the headunit by holding down the volume button. Mine took about 25-30 seconds to reboot. After that I followed his instructions in this video and it fired right up.
I am glad I stumbled across Vladimir’s videos rather than pay $700 at the dealership or $300+ with other vendors.
Installation difficulty was 2/10

Never posted a comment before and I’ve had to research how to do it. This guy is brilliant and responds very quickly to messages. The software works very easily and I’m rubbish with computers! Within minutes I had Apple CarPlay on my car when BMW told me it could not be done!

Vladimir was great. The whole process was so simple and fast. It took me about 30 minutes to install the wifi antenna and about 10 to download/run the software. This is definitely the way to go if you are looking to add CarPlay to your BMW. Highly recommend!

As others have said, the troubleshooting was very useful as i whizzed through everything in my impatient way and didnt realise I may have to re-boot the iDrive at the end. I would highly recommend this very efficient and cost effective service.

Came across your channel looking to add CarPlay after putting up without for a year or so and thanks Vladimir…following video it was a breeze to install and took no more than about an hour including locking/waiting for 30mins after installing antenna and flashing the head unit as CarPlay didn’t appear straight away but did so after that. Emailed Vladimir to start with to double confirm compatible head unit and emailed back quickly. Used the telegram bot and had the code within an hour after payment and downloaded feature installer. Only slight difference was it didn’t ask for code until clicking identify but everything ran as described after that. Would highly recommend the service to anyone as is very easy to do and significantly cheaper than dealership. Thanks again!👍🏻

Small difference is because Feature Isntaller released updated version and interface of software changed a bit. But it’s not a game changer))

Worked like a charm loving the Apple CarPlay in the G30. Bought the code at 21:30 didn’t think it’ll come till the next day however they sent the code within 10 minutes, that excited I had to whip out the laptop straight away. Thank you BimmerDoc

Totally worked for me. Make sure you use a laptop with no firewalls indeed. Company laptop not recommended 😊. Activation to no more than 5 minutes. Connecting the iphone took a couple of tries but succeeded eventually.
Such an easy method! Now I can also update the evo maps too!! 😊😊 very pleased with the service

Agree, did run through the whole process yesterday without any issues at all. It was super convenient with a perfect end result. Highly recommended! Only thing that would be great to include would be the start/stop memory change as well ;-)
For startstop memory coding TeamViewer session is needed. But it’s doable remotely

Thanks Vladimir! You were really helpful and patient with me in the couple of issues I had. This process was really simple and CarPlay now works great in my F20 with EntryNav2. I had a problem where the software wouldn't connect to the required server, but that is because I was using it on an antique windows 7 laptop. Changed to run the Feature Installer in windows 10 in Parallels on a macbook pro and it worked first time.

A++++ This is amazing! I just installed it with success. I just contacted the bot. I also had questions that the doc answered via email :D The first time i tried it, stage 3 failed, but I simply re-ran the process and it worked great! (don't forget to order a wifi antenna) - Happy kilometers for you ahead!
I can confirm that sometimes process might not be finished successfully with a first time. Just try compile more times and you will be good ))

I’ve had on a couple of occasions when you uninstall the CarPlay with feature installer the Navigation doesn’t start and asks for the FSC code. How do you input the FSC code as I know it stores it on a file.
If you uninstalled everything then you can use bmw repair fsc pack to activate functions from the factory
Hi, thanks for uploading this video very helpful, just wondering once you have removed the code when visiting dealer does this eliminate all issues? As I hear if the dealer does a software update it can brick the ecu? Once CarPlay removed before visit does that stop that?
CarPlay activation cannot cause ecu bricking during SW update. Sw update is risky process by its own.
Sw update will erase all codings and activation. Needs to be done again.

Владимир, добрый день. Спасибо за Ваш труд. Скажите, пожалуйста, это после установки будет apple CarPlay, подключающийся по БТ, но не AndroidAuto, так? АндроидАвто только как шаринг экрана будет работать. Т.е. с Айфоном будет работать как надо, в штатном режиме? И второй вопрос, телеграм бот на английском работает на оплату, на русском нет. Мне регион не принципиален, я в Польше живу, но в целом можно и на английском по степам пройти и оплатить, все сейчас актуально и все работает, да? Спасибо!
