As a tour manager for musicians for 10 years and have crisscrossed Canada multiple times, here are some tips to cut some costs. Shop for groceries at Walmart whenever possible, in fact Walmart's will be your best resource while on the road, they're everywhere, open early, close late and they have no problem allowing someone to park and rest for the night. First Nations reserves can be a real good source for cheap gas and cigarettes. Lately, Peanut Butter Foldies, that's one piece of bread, margarine on half, peanut butter on the other, fold and enjoy like fucking Kings & Queens of the road. You got this.

I agree with this possibility. Everyone is so typically negative. They always had their own plans. It was never up to pug to provide them with a future. I think if offered them what he could in exchange for work and board etc. Simple as that. They have a time limit and maybe want to attempt to get on with their plans. Construction jobs are a plenty in BC too, Cherry picking season is coming, weed trimmers are needed too so many options, not the best paying options of course but i do not think their long term plan is to live in Canada forever, they just have to make it there and they will be all good
I said $12 starting. I’m sure we can work out a better hourly rate once we start getting a rhythm. Stockton isn’t as bad as everybody thinks, so a stab resistant vest should do just fine, no need to go all out with 3 a plates. wow , not sure what to say, my wife was born in Manchester, i am most all Canadian, if you were in our vicinity we would offer you help and you look like you need it but we are here in the bc's where it is expensive and there are many people wondering the streets looking to take advantage of people like yourselves so BE VERY CAREFUL! not knowing your predicament but if i was you i would head for a place like nipawin saskatchewan there are some good people up there, we know some,take care and be safe and keep us up dated.

Get an "Induction cook stove top" with couple metal pots and pans ("Avalon Bay" is $35 on amazon)... dirt cheap, dont use heat and will work on car battery power. Bread, rice, canned shit, fruits and veggies plus sauce and seasonings! Eating a lot healthier and a lot cheaper with less pit stops.

I've seen people tie things wrapped in a tarp on their truck bed topper and tie it down for traveling. Not sure if that's allowed in Canada but i see it all the time here in Tennessee.

Im no bible thumper, but here in the states churches often have food pantries. They offer free food and toiletries to those who are struggling. Sometimes, they will even put u up somewhere for a few nights so you can clean up and get some rest if you talk with the folks there.
