- This here took forever to finish, wow! It's not perfect but I'm sure as hell proud of myself for finishing it!

I could technically explain the whole lore behind this video but I've decided not to so y'all can make your own theories! I'll share the actual story if you ask me to, though :]
Characters in the video (in order of appearance):
Sparrowclaw (she/her, brown striped she-cat)
[kits- shown below]
Fowlstar (he/him, long haired gray striped tom with a scar on the right side of his face)
Harpyswoop (he/they, medium haired gray striped cat with super dark eyes)
Swanface/star (she/her, long haired black and white she-cat with sharp markings and a pink nose)
Seagullscreech (he/him, short haired tom with distinctive light and dark brown markings and yellowish eyes)

First of all, love this! It’s just so pretty and aaaaaa I’m bad with words but my god you did so good with this!!
Theory time!
Sparrowclaw asks Fowlstar if he loves her. He doesn’t answer. He was betrayed by a cat he thought he could trust. He might have just had kits in order to ensure his bloodline stayed in power?
He abuses Sparrowclaw over the course of their kits’ growth, and eventually abuses Seagullscreech after she dies (possibly due to his resemblance to his mother?).
As a result, Seagullscreech grows resentment towards his father for the abuse and his siblings for getting power from his abuser. He loses faith in Starclan for all of this injustice. This resentment eventually grows to straight up hatred. He needs revenge.
One day he attacks Swanstar outside of camp. He lets out his anger at the abuse that he and Sparrowclaw suffered, and how could Starclan have let all this happen. Swanstar sees her mother’s spirit behind Seagullscreech. She remembers playing with Seagullscreech when they were kits before she’s killed.
Harpyswoop attacks Seagullscreech from behind, they fight while Swanstar comes back from losing a life. Seagullscreech taunts Harpyswoop before Harpy deals the final blow. Seagull has a final few moments of clarity, in which his siblings show they understand why he was angry. Seagullscreech dies, finally in peace.

Thank you very much!! Each frame took a while to complete since basically all of them were pretty much painted- especially those on the second half - so I'm glad people seem to have enjoyed the pmv!

My brain is a tiny bit small to make theories but from what I understood, I would like to say I luv the unhealthy relationship and the little scene where you made the cats into the birds in their names!!! (Also the song, it's fantastic!!!) My favorite part is the early scenes where that one cat gently touches the half blinded one and paint/blood?? Comes out, I feel like it's a tragic scene. Anyways welcome back and I kook foward for the contest as well!! :D

Yeah, this song really is amazing, isn't it? And you're correct- in that first scene, it's actually meant to be paint but it ended up being more like stylized blood lol! Also, it's always fun to turn some kitties into their namesakes >:D

Ok, after watching, that was fire. This song fits so perfectly to the scenario, the art is phenomenal (I love the flashing in of sketchy parts to be memories/flashbacks I think), and the designs of Sparrowclaw, Fowlstar, and Seagullscreech are just AMAZING! Great job Moth, you should feel really proud for pulling this off!
(also since I won twice last time I'm not gonna participate in the contest, but I'm super excited to see what everyone else comes up with ^^)
Thank you!!!! I chose the song specifically because it fit Seagull's story, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't end up developing the story alongside the song! I'm glad the flashing didn't get too overwhelming, I was worried about that :,,)

Wowww I didn’t really understand this at first, but after reading seagull’s backstory on DA (dunno if that’s cheating haha)... DANG!! Everything is represented amazingly!! Poor Seagullscreech though D,: This is so well made, I love your use of lighting, the orange shades really make everything pop and the use of birds is super unique! Overall this is a super cool pmv, I enjoyed watching it a lot!
