You guys REALLY need to react to and discuss the International Trailer as it is VERY different in tone, and in terms of what it shows. This trailer is all like, "remember all these people," whereas the International Trailer is much more about the story of the movie. Thanks for sharing this though!
Honestly that makes me not want to watch it because then I’ll get story cues. This trailer may be weaponizing nostalgia but it’s still only giving me the bare minimum. I want to be surprised when I go to see the movie!

Look up Acaster and you'll find so many clips of him from various British comedy panel shows. As a Brit, to see him in Ghostbusters, it's a tad strange.

This is his biggest role to date, which either means he'll be a bit of a break through hopefully showcasing his talent, but judging from the trailer he might be a throw away character who bites the dust early. How can Peck call the Ghostbusters hacks when he was standing right next to a 100ft tall Marshmallow Man and after the Ghostbusters did something at the top of the building, the Marshmallow Man was destroyed.
It's nice that they apparently used the same Slimer puppet (or recreated it in cgi) here, because it moves *exactly* like the original back in the 80s.
The International trailer is very different, quite menacing and downplays the nostalgia bait that the Domestic trailer has. I think it's a better trailer, although I do love seeing Janine in the iconic jumpsuit recalling the 90's cartoon.

James and his friend Ed Gamble have a very popular podcast called "Off Menu" . their most famous episode had Dan Aykroyd as the guest .
