TxSU just has a clarity and distinct sound to each of their sections that PV is missing. TxSU for the W
Their band just sounded like noise, we couldnt hear any crutial parts there bro, PV had way better energy and you could actually tell what was happening when there was playing
thats it bro...u can tell from the first song they jus on another level that pv cant reach yet...the tone quality clear crisp sound was everything...they actually flipped too pv used to be the cleaner band even tho their arrangements and dymamics and constrast have been mid...txsu the cleaner band and it aint even close pv trumpets need to have sectionals ASAP its no way they cool with jus doing anything tpets playing whatever comes to mind their euphos are tone deaf its like its 3 different sections of their tbones and mellos are not consistent they show up sometimes and this is y they sound cluttered and airy no supporting sections...they tubas rocking tho...PV needs to get back to 2016 thru 2018 immediately

TXSU for the win. PV is definitely not a pushover though. I will say that it is time to adapt with the times. They are powerful and rely too much on that. Let’s get someone with a better pen in my opinion.

I wanted to be in PV band in high school. But TXSU was in my back yard but I didn’t want to go. I say that to say this although I wanted to go to PV I just wanna say I’m proud to hear my back yard school killing it. 🌊

I think PV’s initial problem is execution. They need to be more precise in attacks. From there they can work on the book and arrangements. Both bands sounded good in person tho.

Each director/arranger gives you a different flavor. Other bands really have to prepare for the Ocean, because they just don't know what they are going throw at you.

They done let that Boy B get too comfortable with that program. TXSU is going to give a bunch of band programs major problems, they must’ve forgot what he did for SU. And now he has the reigns..all I got to say is the sleeping giant is WOKE.
I'm not going to sugar coat this. This 5th quarter wasn't close. TXsU hands down. Now these last 2 from PV was decent, ib wish they brought that the energy throughout. But I'm disappointed. So much potential in the Storm to be that big but it's mid at best.....
TxSU, great arrangements, so far don't seem as strong as last year. One of those Baritones doing too much, they need to work on blending and not sticking out.

From a former storm member. I give us props for improving but we have to get better music and a dance team has to clean it up. Shelbi has to come harder. We will see txsu again we will know what to expect.

Idk about them seeing each other much after this. JSU lost bad to FAMU so if PV football gets stronger, yall will be in the championship against FAMU or Bama State so your travel will change with that.
@@georgefoley2128I'm a former PV student athlete and the way TSU stomped on them in the 5th 2022 was disturbing! PV never recovered last year. This year they seem better but they've never recovered since Prof Edwards passed.

Shell Stadium is one of the best in the conference for watching football. However, the band setup is one of the worst. Good job both bands, I was entertained from the beginning to the end. Great zero and 5th. Both bands will wreak havoc this season.

This is the best PV has sounded in years. TXSU I feel got the W. Their selections was better and seemed to suit there girl's style. PVU's dancers and band need to get on the same page sometimes their music don't coincide with the Foxes" aggressive nature.

I can't get over the stadium design. Is it good for bands to play in the stands there? It looks like they are in the nosebleed section.
It's built for soccer not necessarily football games and definitely not marching bands. The upper level is larger but the bands are not from the field. If you're the travel team in other conferences, they'll put bands in tighter and unusual areas because they know everyone cares about the game more than the band. Notre Dame will put their band on the field in the corner when they have sellouts.
