Seen Macky Gee once and have to agree (WHP 22nd Nov - Sub Focus B2B Wilkinson High Contrast Dimension Macky Gee). Me and my mates would just be getting hyped and into a rhythm and then he'd switch to a completely different vibe and completely ruin the flow. Hopefully its just a phase and he starts mixing better.

Mate I have to strongly disagree with you. This set has loads remixes and the mixing style is nuts. I love it best set of his in ages for me..mixes a lil fast tho as the tracks k love only play for 30 secs lol
Having listened to a bit of his stuff, I think it's a deliberate stylistic choice. I saw him last week, and was astounded by how seemingly lacking in the basic skills of DJing he seemed to be. However, over time, I realised it's more like a deliberate choice to not do what typical DJs do. I don't think it's what I'd want to listen to it all the time (I was there for K Motionz and that was more to my normal taste) but I found this approach quite a refreshing change, and enjoyed how unpredictable it was.
I can definitely see why people don't enjoy it, but I kinda like that he's doing something a bit different.
